One more really excellent FPS that I found played again yesterday - Exhumed. If you don't have it - get it. It's the only one I have played that I couldn't beat - yet. And that's with cheats on.
Back in the days when I was a regular visitor to the arcade, some kids had one of those electric gizmos that you use to light a gas jet with. You put the gizmo next to a metal part of the arcade machine and operate it. The electric jolt (like a small tazar) could cause the machine to give credits - although it was also likely to crash it.
Alley Cat was good. Possibly the oldest game to have a cheat key. I'm too busy to play games now. But when I did it was lots of Commander Keen and other Apogee/ID games, Wolfenstein-3D, Spear of Destiny and Doom I/II and available homebrew levels.
If you annoyed the hell out of millions of people, who would be the suspect? FULL STORY -> http://loonov.com/russian-viagra-and-male organ-enlargement-spammer-murdered.htm (you will have to change "male organ" to "peni*" due to the word filter kicking in) Good riddance to bad rubbish is what I say.
Maybe I should visit the arcades that are somewhat near me. There used to be one at Macarthur Square, and according to the web, there's one a bit closer, at Leumeah. I'll have to check them out...
The only "perfect" emulator is bsnes, but that will never run on a DS. So, you can use snesDS http://www.cs.utah.edu/~tew/snesDS/ or SnezziDS http://www.forwardcoding.com/projects/snezzids/snezzids.html
