didnt setup the hd side he said he only wanted it for vert games on sd...I could patch that stuff in 2mins of course... I could fix the wrong rotation of other stuff in seconds as well but that version is alot behind my real version anyways. It was just for there specific needs due to a constant request. He logged onto MSN and I did it for him in while he waited. Took 2 times longer than it should because he told me wrong way to rotate it but alls good contact the experts they can patch it in for you its about as newbe as it source wise

I didnt setup the horizontal games they prob rotate the wrong way....its for vert games only really and yes riot is one of many you noticed in that build thank iq hehehe

in showcase you can turn on autorotate and it will show you an icon in the top right corner when a game is vertical as it will have a rotate circular arror on it if you slect remove rom it will grab the pic the rom and xmv into the backuproms folder now... this will make it easier to assemble all the bits you need

was only a quick 5min job due to personal requests really..... I had to use the sources from r4 alot though for the games drivers so dats might not work perfectly as alot of games are fixed or added

I would say coinops has more features than hk build..... 720p two autofires mouse trackball commandline launching background music video autorotate plus lots and lots more I could name that isnt in any other mame (most of what is hk build is supported really)

I just did one of those for someone (vertical gui ) he should post it soon he said...he said it all works ok also got more games in it as I couldnt be arsed stripping a few of them

I tweaked it a bit in that build I think only slightly I didnt notice it made any real improvement...i since played around and got alot better frame rate

all the experts are alot of help.....thank god we have them

fixed vm later on sorry... you will have to do this manually in that build... maybe you could find the correct lines for vm.txt or vmhidef.txt but its fixed at source level now (didnt test as not part of showcase)

ill post a logo this weekend or maybe 2 or 3 before the weekend....ill ask nes if he wants a hand to skin and maybe even add some skin elements to the gui. If he wants a hand ill give it for sure, if not ill quickly make a skin when its availble peace

no idea sorry I dont test off DVD I run 1400 games on my Showcase at present with no issues with genre

read the readme FAQ its one of the FAQs...ive fixed it now (its becaause you are not shutting it down correctly or launching a game and it isnt saved on exit...using IGR or turning off not using shutdown....ive now set it to save after scannning for rom names)

PS if you hex edit mamedox.xbe of mamedox to have the save game save name as coinops you should be able to run CoinOPS launcher with manfactures but it will only play mamedox games it looks like you can just change the version number in romstatus.xml and then change the skin elemnt to point to version in stead of manufacture (would be nice to have a switch ) but its a quick d it yourself hack that will work no worries by looks

those last few days on the forums where to see if I could stop the behavour....but I couldnt it was plain to see...I warned all users in a public forum and was even encoraged to do this. It was being set in stone at that time for a while and im well aware of alot of stuff behind the scenes that maybe your helpfull friends can tell you about one day . Anyways as said it was warned many times over a few weeks it obious it was only going to get worse and the helpfull people were only going to make life less helpful. This means no updates at all ever from me on progress on anything im doing, its painfull on more than just forum fronts. You guys can discuss this all you want Ill look occassionally but no real updates and the direction is now heading totally away from what you have seen, it would have been good release the final Oldschool mameox build I did but that is being killed off now as we speak (you can ask a few around here they know whats happening with my thoughts and directions and allways claim to know, just ask them whats happening and trust they them they are nice people with no movtives or underhanded ways just plain honest people )

the nature of my leaving is so no one can use stuff against me if they dont know what happening hench I wont be posting stuff about projects anymore....anything else is all good. The trolling and silly comments is only one side of the nature of the beast. Im partly leaving due to some other people that support the project have also had big issues to some that dwel around and they dont want to deal with it also. Although the painfull people think they know all, like no sources etc but they need to look right in front of there eyes more, they know only a small amount. Ill leave it at that. But basically CoinOPS must be underground now trust me it will be easier for everyone concerned

it wasnt like the old days......theres alot of stuff happened that I havnt told you, Ive warned you guys if you really think the users were helping then its because you dont know what was happening around the place. Developers and helpers are aware at least in part of more than they are saying. If it had been just the stuff on this forum that is minor but there is alot happening all around and none of it positive. But they have got there wishes at least from a public point a view

this is a fair request with helpful files... I differ in opion on it but if it was easy to add I would have added it for sure.... dont worry about what was said here its very good and even handled in your own thread...... Good luck

there you go..... half of the new stuff is thanks to iq he can patch most and alot more into the source no worries. I dont want to use those features.... its not my responsibility really I just want to dev, I do alot more than CoinOPS I know you guys dont really know that. Ill release more stuff one day for sure right now the code is the messiest its ever been....in fact a compete shambles but its going in a new direction. I gave myself and everyone the chance of open communication and yes I do know alot more about stuff than people give me credit for and I dont tell anyone what happened last summer, its really time to go forward for me. Maybe I can work with iq some more to add some big games at some point....hes the man take care
