yes that was done the day I said I would you have a bad hdd as it works good on a fast hdd, but I have one with a slow HDD and yes its unsmooth so the option is added (only when triggers are pressed own a certian distance the screen and video render are disabled)

gogo is spending a little time but not much hes got a woman that keeps him busy. Hes a good guy those and giving me pointers when I see him to fix a few of these games. Some of the stuff mentioned is emulated less accurately than CoinOPS but can be altered by filters I guess without speed drop, an example is after burner seems to play better on CoinOPS the frame rate is a little off in FBL but wasnt in FB there is quite a few games like this, ill stay out of this stuff as it can get controversal im sure but im testing what this thread topic is for my self. (sba if you want I have all the games I mentioned and find and the videos PM me sometime if you want) I personally would ague that CoinOPS gui is easier to sort....and easier to use and the options are more refined to what people want to do if they just play games. An example is screen rotation is way more intuative id say in my build and does what it should but these are personal things I guess. I gave FBL to people I know and asked what they wanted me to add and after a little while of using this they didnt want me to add anything to CoinOPS (except for a few games like powerdrift) and are happy with the way the GUI in CoinOPS is for there HD TV and there cabs. Maybe its what they are used to, also they wouldnt want to micro manage screensizes, rotations, filters, autofires keymaps again for every game as they run more than 1200 unique games. Anyway I know your build will suit alot around with its per game setup and being set to later game sets alot more, and it really is nice. Im happy with my options and GUI personally and people I know are so I wont ague with whats better to me its horses for courses and ive agued this for years ive made my build to users of massive amounts of games...straight out of the box to work with stuff that is automatic and structured to do tasks they want to do, and removed as much micro management as I can. If you have time iq would you like to optomise a few games properly and I know your good at it hehehehe NeoGeo to me looked identical so I must be missing stuff what do the later sets fix? also CPS2 looks identical to me apart from speed in some places what did they fix in later sets (although its switchble now thanks to iq) PS it sadens me to see this talk about aspect ratio is is easy to test what video res you are running in and to set the flages to stretch,scale or zoom the 3d box ( I have set mine to stretch and it only autodetects 480i(then no NTSC/PAL detection)480p(knownsize as it has to be NTSC)and 720P(knowsize) anbd could fit aspect correction for known size stuff pretty easy, to do this I would add PAL/NTSC detection) all the source is in XBMC source code and open source, it really is just up to the emulator persons choice, you can see CoinOPS can detect screensive automatically just by going between low and hidef TVs and it automatically sets up screensizes...Virtual Mem etc everything.

really needs to be in the FBL thread as these are fixes not what runs better....ive found alot of issues with other games but CPS2 and NeoGeo and Cave etc stuff is all good what I found that runs better World Hereos 1 World Hereos 2 all Psyko all later CPS2 everything else doesnt run better IMO although it does run better with filters many games but without they run the same. also it plays Power Drift Galaxy Force 2 AB Cop Thunderblade Genisis (although there are alot of the top genisis game supported on mame) a few other games from FB if you want the videos for any of those game let me know

just fixed the Psyko to be less acurrate in CoinOPS like in this FBL...I tried it and notice one of the title layers in Striker games was missing the transpency and looks alot worse (clouds) so the driver needed some downscaling like raiden fighters did. PGM is in mame and seems fine...also I have no issues in any cave games, or neogeo games (except world hereos 1 and 2). Also fixed speed now in Metal Slug 2 and world hereos all it needs is a cpu speed up (set for that game only nes think mslug 2 has slowdown by default as it did in arcades) I ran all my stuff from the 1600 unique games from my personal build and it only showed about 500 or less id say but it doesnt give me a number (although alot of the very best ones are there) also games like gunsmoke seemed to play at really bad speeds. I only took at quick look and play and also looked though the dats fpr a while all videos seems to work on both no worries not to sure if it drops to use parent video if its a clone with no video but with the same naming it works fine at present I only noticed later CPS2 better...Psyko better and World Hereos 1 and 2 it plays some of the games from FB 1.1 that mame cant at present and alot more genesis although megatech and megaplay is supported in mame (PS all those other drivers are being speed up with some help from one of the orig FBA dev)

gogoack took a look at the CPS2 (optomising is the the CPS1 video drawing though) driver for me and is helping me out optomising it for the same speed as FBA yeah I havent downloaded an emu from a site in years ini would be better than a dat for me... anyways all good Kenshiro MSN me the dat or the ini sometime or do you know of anything? just want to be able to play any new games not to interested in the code just for a look at any games I missed that are good from my arcade days really ill stay out of this thread but throw me some sugar sometime Kenshiro

no worries is it poss for someone to post the ini file sometime of the game list please any new games supported on the xbox is always good news I take it missing alot of older stuff? (like say donkey kong 1 2 and 3 or are most of the old classics now supported in FBA sorry I have no idea how far FB on PC has moved on) Cheers

is it only the final burn games...CPS2 is nearly full speed now thanks to gogo hopefully he can nail it better in time or I can with the info so far is it poss to get a games list from somewhere at all?

what arcade games does this play that CoinOPS wont? just a question as ive started to opomise CPS2 now and have speed up Mslug2 and World Hereos(thanks for iq for tips how to do this) so I dont need to boot FBAs any speed but there must be alot of games in this now that arnt playble on any other mame? what are they so I can have little play. CoinOPS will run under both my GUIs also you can launch oldschool gui from the new school gui as an emulator like xbmc of course can. to be honest though the project scope is now just what I want in and how I want it to run....theres so much potential but anything I dont want in it I removed it as clutter. Im kind of enjoying getting back to roots of my design for myself. But I can work with people independantly of my project for a better driver core that would help both parties as im leaving you guys to others help really. Its nice to just work like the old days and im really starting to cross over to it now...as each day goes on and seeing that being a developer is just silly these days I will developement pure and simply for me and my friends xboxs based on a non compromised what I like ideals. (everyone knows the reasons why ive spelt them out....im not even going to help actually with support anymore or telling people about silly stuff people are saying ill let them help you guys even if I think its silly hey its up to you guys and your communities to sort it out for yourselves really I know what I think, as promised many times I wont be returning to public dev unless the state of forums is better and clearly I would disagree with that at present. The decession to leave the community to support itself was nothing to do with any threats or wants of people here etc more the fact that really its your guys fight now and im happy to completely leave it up to you guys as stated many times I personally believe its in a bad way but its not for me to change this and its only really taking me backwards...its back to the old school ) Peace brothers

sorry guys.....ive lost alot of interest lately especially in the release or talking about release side and been busy with other stuff, im getting a bit of help fixing some driver at present for myself really as I want a few games with speed, midway is being improved along with cps2 by some old school dev but otherwise ive got other stuff I need to do. I agree those people are all good.....no issues at all with them. I kind of filter out good stuff and focus on juicy stuff. Its funny though without this stuff pretty much its just cba posting and nothing happening. So I hope you guys do move along I think ive got gogo back to help move along a little as well at present so that will be great...I hope he doesnt see any of this stuff ever how times have changed

I have never downloaded any of your work these where given to me by 2 people when I asked for them tonight. And I was only showing that cba was misleading everyone here. I was just giving people factual info nothing more. I have not a clue what you are doing or have done im sure it will be great but this is what people tell me is availbe at present. And I could only compair soinc 1 and sonic 2 as they are the only games from your stuff I beleive I could compair stuff to see if cba was correct. I let people make up there mind. ill but out of here to but it is what it is. Im not showing people anything they cant check for themselves and cba said mine where bad so I looked at what else there was, when I looked into it I thougth, well ill let people decide for themselves. In the end it was just a straight comparison for people to view and a snapshot of what people think is out there. As I say I wish you the best and I hope you complete whatever your doing...I really do im sure its spot on, I just took a look again and reliased personally at present im best with what I have I compaired Megadrive vs Mame as it was the only games I could compair if my stuff was bad.....sadly I cant see it and everyone else thought it was silly cause of how far off cba was, Its good to see your going to use hq ones now and good luck it looks good (personally I dont see quality diff on mine to your new ones but hey maybe there is) Peace anyways remember this is what it is...nothing personal I wish I found them awsome and I could use them but personally I didnt and showed people a flaw in what I precieved to be facts by cba. also if I believe he is infactual again I will also show proof rather than words and im sorry if it upsets people but as cba wants the truth must be told
