Finally, another console manufacturer has realized that sony took the SNES controller design and perfected it. I do worry about the cable though.

There needs to be a "I'll just be playing with my Wii until I see if the games are any good" option.

It got lost when I moved out closer to college not long after last years E3 and just resurfaced like a month ago or so. I've decided to wait until next week to send it out... Alright, it's E3 time again. Last year I offered to report back on anything anyone was interested in with a more individual look than the press typically offers. This thread was the result: Daeval's E3 2005 Impressions I found that gave my wanderings a little more structure, so I thought I'd extend that offer this year as well. I'm going on Friday, so anything that's going to be revealed should be revealed by the time I leave. So that's that. If there's anything you're interested in hearing a little more than the press is willing to tell you about, post here and let me know!

Why envy you? Costs me nothing, save the cost of a blank disc. Piracy on the fronts you are in does need to be eradicated. One downloading something and copying it is one thing, another copying and SELLING is another and those people need to be pimp slapped. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not saying I'm an angel, but I don't get this logic. How does paying a few bucks to the middleman cross obtaining illegal ip into the unnacceptable?

Oh, so IJTF_Cinder was wrong about Agent 47 being silent? I'll probably try Hitman 2; I heard the first Hitman game was absolutely awful! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wouldn't say the first one was awful, it did manage to get me hooked enough to buy the second. Most of its big issues were technical, not gameplay related. The second one was good fun.

Jason Statham was my first pick for 47 also. I could deal with the accent if I had to, but I bet he could repress it if it sounded really dorky. 47 is supposed to be kind of tall and lean looking, and Deisel just doesn't have that going for him. Plus, deisel has a monkey face that just doesn't portray the cool and calm of a master assassin.

Someone should release a "study" like this one showing the impact of piracy on the OTHER end of the music industry. They could interview the guys who get paid fifty cents an hour to press disks or assemble jewel cases in some sweaty factory, and they could show off the modest music collections they wouldn't have been able to afford if it weren't for the street vendors selling bootlegged copies. They could find the guy who snuck the first disk out of the warehouse for a much needed 0-day bonus to his paycheck, putting it nearly in line with that of the guy who cleans the private restroom in the american exec's office suite, at least for that week. I don't know the truth of the situation, but it would be amusing.

I too prefer a blend of both, although I like mine heavy on the traditional.. Although traditional on its own can be nice, computer on its own rarely appeals to me.

Anyone still playing this? Word of the upcoming expansion pack, Dark Crusade (w/ Necrons and Tau), got me interested again and I picked up Winter Assault. Discuss! If anyone wants to play, look me up on AIM (Daeval8). I prefer co-op games though.

I'm curious, did the 360 version get its rating changed too? Because you can't mod this skin out of that version or tweak the blood levels.

For all intents and purposes, it's practically legal to have small amounts of pot in southern california. I don't really see any big pothead exodus to mexico happening. It's the harder drugs that will be the issue. Tijuana just got that much more seedy.

This is probably another really old one, but a friend recently got me into Last Exile. I've only watched the first few episodes, but so far it's pretty cool. And if you're willing to give american comedy cartoons a shot, I've recently discovered that Adult Swim's Venture Brothers is friggin' awesome. The pilot and first few episodes are just alright, but they get really good after that.

Some very interesting stuff in there. I'm particularly glad to hear the last few bits there.

Wolverine's been overrated for a long time. He does come off particularly awkward in this clip though.
