So now that KOF2K3 is out for NRX id like to make a post just so i could help out and at the same time be helped out myself..... 1)Will anyone care to point out any glitches/bugs that are in this initial release of KOF 2003 NRX? 2)Are there any fixes for any of the bugs/glitches? (i havent got around to playing the ROM cuz i dont have a controller)

Neogamez has a link to a website which has A LOT of NRX ROMS.... ive dl'd all the ones that i needed but i havent tested them all yet.... all i know is that the EGCG NRX's dont support ROMS with the bin. extension and those ROMS with the really long characters i.e N12647586...... what i do is split the long character ROMS and the regular format ROMS, the former i play in NRX v 0.8c and the latter i play in EGCG NRX v 4.2..... also i cant figure out using Romcenter for NRX ROMS cuz what it always does is mess up my NRX ROMS... is there a NRX ROMS dat for Romcenter?

Well guess it finally came out for NRX but,like all recent Neo-Geo dumps it needs some urgent fixing. Is the game already running perfectly on other emus? Hope Poirot makes a pack for this.... another thing, is the console mode menu supposed to look like that? Looks like something out of an incomplete version of KOF2003 or something....

Has anyone successfully gotten Poirots SS5 V ROMS fix to work? (Its from that SS5 fixes pack) I tried to but everytime i pressed a key (which the application instructed me to do) it shut down. Probably has to do something with the V ROMS appication being a DOS application and me having Win XP....

Im looking for a Metal SLug 5 P1 ROM that works with NRX. I used to have one from neogamez but: 1)It had the wrong CRC (Poirots MS5 fixes pack lists the right CRC and needs the P1 with that CRC in order for it to work with the patches) 2)Didnt highlight the game on the gamelist (even when it has an entry,other than that the game is listed at the bottom and works fine. Can anyone give me a link or provide me with a P1? *disappears*

What kind of Neo-Geo ROMS are they? MAME/Kawaks or NRX (hopes its latter)

Can anyone link me to the metal slug 5 universal P1 ROM (for NRX)? I know there used to be one at Neogamez (RIP) but,well Neogamez is gone....

Also where can i find a Metal Slug 5 P1 ROM that makes it work with NRX? I used to have one from the now-defunct Neogamez but it had the wrong CRC and didnt highlight the game on the NRX gamelist......

Oh man that really sucks! I was at Neogamez pretty much all of last night getting fixes and CRCs for my ROMS! Well anyways i downloaded another ROM and it works, fixed it with Poirots fix pack (the V ROMS fix didnt want to work though,probably cuz it was a DOS executable and i have Win XP ) so disregard this topic....

Yeah but release date + ROM release date (prob. 1 month or so after release)+ working out all the glitches and bugs and releasing a NRX version= A LONG WAIT. Kof 2003 aint even out for NRX yet!!! Well anyways i got the ROM and am about to rename it problem is that the files are in BIN format and IIRC NRX crashes if a ROMS' files are in BIN format. So i need to know 2 things: 1)Is what i just said true and 2)IF the answer to number1 is yes is there any way i can convert BIN to ROM or should i just download yet another ROM? Thanks *disappears*

Sorry if im making so many topics but it seems that a new dilemma always pops up randomly. Where can i get a sound fix for KOF 99 NRX (which i downloaded from SNKX) cuz the sfx sound pretty off. Also if there any other fixes for KOF99 NRX can you link me to those as well. Thanks *disappears..... hopefully for a while lol*

Anyone know where i can get the universal P1 ROM with the CRC 02247965 cuz i got another universal P1 ROM with a different CRC and that one doesnt work with Poirot's MS5 fixes pack. I need it to play MS5 in NRX. Thanks *disappears*

Whats the verdict on that SVC fixes pack? Ive tried some of the patches in it (blood,bosses w/ icons and bug fix) and from what ive seen it works although my P1 seemed to be pretty good even without the patches (i downloaded it from neogamez,it was a non-PLUS P1). But one thing that bugs me is that upon installing the bosses patch i can pick them in arcade mode but they arent available in practice. Is it supposed to be like this or is it a glitch? Oh btw im also a NRX fan

Ive downloaded many SS5 ROMS but they were in Kawaks/MAME format and i know that those sets dont work with NRX. Plus the SS5 board is dead thats why im asking this here: where can i get a SS5 ROM for NRX?

Oh,i see. Guess i have the newest version cuz both SS5 and MS5 have entries in the gamelist. I havent gottten around to fixing my MS5 ROM yet (i know it needs fixing) so ill see if that works. Thanks

Yeah those 2 games do have entries in the gamelist. Im using the EGCG NRX which i got from Neogamez (dont know if its the latest version though)....

Well thats not a problem with me cuz i got the latest NRX and it lists all Neo-Geo games released up to this point. Some of my ROMS (MS5 and SS5) appear at the bottom of the list instead of their names being highlighted.....

Why is it that some of my Neo-Geo ROMS appear at the bottom of the gamelist in NRX even if they are named correctly? Is there something wrong with the ROMS or with NRX (i use EGCG version btw which is slowly starting to get better due to fixes for certain games being released)?

Are those patches/fixes from the site mentioned in this page the latest ones? Do they work cuz ive downloaded them already but have been REALLY busy elsewhere and havent patched my ROM yet (i got the plus version BTW)......

i really would like this hardware to be pushed to its limits..... it would be interesting to see what sammy can do with the Atomiswave now that it has SNK IP's....

Hmm, i see what you mean. But i would still like to try to acquire a full NRX romset despite it being difficult. So if anyone knows any links for fixes for post-1998 NRX games can you give them to me? Thanks

Oh i see. So where can i get the ROM then? (cuz like i said before ive checked all the pages on this topic and all the links were broken (i tried neogamez and filemirrors,ditto)

I have been told that all NRX games after Garou/KOF99 need some sort of patching to run 100% perfect in NRX. Can anyone confirm this and if true tell me all the games that need patching/fixes (and where to get these patches/fixes)? These are the ones i know of so far..... KOF2000 (needs 512 KB S1+ECGC NRX hack to run w/o gfx glitches). Ive tried this and from what ive seen the gfx look perfect but i dont know if the rest of the game needs further fixing.... Garou (i heard only the prototype version works for NRX but i saw a topic here awhile ago from a guy who said he was able to run Garou final version on NRX with a fix so i dont know for sure....) KOF99 (it needs a patch/fix cuz from what i heard there are some missing instruments in the songs.... ive played KOF99 in Kawaks and it doesnt sound like this....) Metal Slug 3 (i heard it needs a S1 fix....) KOF 2K1 & 2K2 (heard they both need fixes for missing sounds or something to that matter....) Matrimelee&ROTD (ive definitely heard these 2 need fixing) 3 newest Neo-Geo games (SVC,SS5,MS5) (Nuff' said. everyone knows where to get fixes for these 3 games..... Well those are all that i know. Anyone care to add any more to the list (or see if i stated incorrect info)? With the exception of KOF2000 and the 3 newest games can anyone give me any links to fixes for all the other aforementioned games (if needed) so i can run them 100% on NRX. Oh btw im not selfish or annoying i posted this topic not only for my own benefit,but for any of you who use NRX and were unaware of the aforementioned cuz NRX can be a pain as far as getting 1999-present games to run perfectly on it. Most would say to migrate to Kawaks/Nebula/MAME but they are not as CPU efficient as NRX is and need loaders AND fixes to run the newer games since they are locked out. NRX is simple and to the point and not a CPU hog and while it uses its own romsets is my preferred Neo-Geo emu. Sorry for the long post but any help would be appreciated. Thanks *disappears*

Where can i get the SS5 ROM (NRX version)? Ive searched all the pages and all the links i tried were broken....

Can anyone give me a link to a working MS5 ROM for NRX??? (i couldnt get it at coolrom or neogamez) I suppose the only fix the ROM needs is that universal P1 right?
