  1. Thier site at http://www.bitboys.fi/index.htm has some info but not much. I remember reading about thier Glaze3d (I think thats what it was called) card a couple of years ago but I haven't heard much from them since.
  2. I've got that power in spades It works especially well on my family when I go visit them.
  3. Yeah, I notice a distinct change in the way the game goes when you watch it in 2d match mode as well. The 2nd half bug happened 3 times in one season. I know it's not much but still...it's bloody annoying. Some of the bugs that I haven't had yet sound pretty bad. I'm amazed the game got released like it was but I guess that was probably Eidos putting pressure on Sports Interactive. Anyway, all champ games go through that evolution process from being buggy at the start, lots of patches and then its finally the amazing game you expect.
  4. nice post! I would definately go for controlling time. If you control time then you have the ability to control everything
  5. 400 isn't enough! I want 4000!!!!! GIMME
  6. Carts because cartridge based machines last for AGES while cd based consoles always break down (especially Sony ones ) Like others have said, carts are also really tough to break and have zero load times. Woohoo!
  7. I like it but I probably won't play it again till the next patch is out. The major bugs that I found were (and oh boy are they MAJOR) 1. IF you make tactical changes in the 2nd half, your 2nd half goals disappear 2. All the teams in the league have a WWWWWWWW record, no matter if they win lose or draw. 3. All my teams goals seem to come from strikers. It needs to be way more balanced 4. Nobody will buy ANY of my players, even star players for hardly any money. I love the new 2d engine but I think I will stick to 01/02 for now. Check out the sigames.com forums for all the rest that I haven't experienced so far.
  8. Nearly always online because they are so much cheaper. I usually get between £5 and £15 off any game I buy online. The best places I find are amazon.co.uk, play.com, splashdvd.com, special reserve, softwarefirst and a couple of others.
  9. I like the way you think mate Any kind of art, whether it be paintings, drawings, music, sculpture, films are all really important. Some of the most amazing things emerge from the worst tragedies...
  10. My workspace is pretty big but it is also a real mess right now. It's mostly bits of paper with code and stuff written on them and a lot of wires, plectrums, magazines, jack leads, bits of computer from ones that I have taken apart. I also have a couple of guitars leaning against it and a Korg Workstation sat on top. I have a problem with throwing things out so I gather a lot of clutter. Even if its like a 10 year old PC mag, I convince myself that there is something in them that I will find useful in the future. It's stupid because they just take up valuable space for keeping pornography (jk ) The only time I really bother to tidy it is when my gf comes over to use the computer (because she moans about mess) or when my mum visits (because she also moans). Nobody else cares or at least they know if they say something to make me guilty about it, I will punch them
  11. The image gave me a really creepy feeling and the title suggested to me that mankind learns nothing from history and rather than evolving to a better/higher power, we constantly go backwards. So I think I might have got the gist of it and it's relevance to the world today is pretty stark. Involution is just the reverse of evolution right? I should probably read some philosiphy books
  12. I'm 22 and I'm also from the UK (Scotland to be exact) I've finished with Uni and I'm currently working for a web design company but I don't really fancy being there forever. My main interests are Footie(watching and playing), Music (guitars, keyboards/piano & drums mainly), gaming (mostly retro), windsurfing, women, beer and various other gubbins. NB: Championship Manager 4 is full of bugs. I'm pretty disappointed but no doubt there will be loads of patches soon. The play testers need to be shot though. So.... a/s/l? what colour are your panties? do you have naked pics? I'm Britney Spears cousin! I love you, lets hook up!!!
  13. In no particular order M.U.L.E (1983) - Agreed. The daddy of all strategy games. Respect it Bard's Tale (1985) Legend of Zelda (1986) Sid Meier's Pirates (1987 I think) Tetris (1986) - The best game ever. I could have chosen about 30 others though.
  14. GBAX.COM 2003 Coding Competition: In association with GBAEmu & GP32Emu. The results have been accounced and now all the competition entries are available for download. The winner was a game called Wonkie Guy for the GBA. There are plenty other highlights including many GBA games, 4 emulators for the GBA (Gameboy Mono, ZX Spectrum, Sega Master System & PC Engine), a few GP32 games and a couple of emulators for the GP32 (MSX and Waba). If you have a GP32 or a GBA with a flashcart then you should download these ASAP. Some of the entries are extremely impressive. Go to http://gbax2003.gbaemu.com/ for downloads & more info

  16. I don't know whether mine went up or down. I don't really care either as long as I can still be the DC Fanboy around the place
  17. A few of my faves Shawshank Redemption Godfather 1 & 2 (3 sucked) LOTR trilogy (ok I haven't seen the third one but you know it's going to rock ) Usual Suspects Braveheart Citizen Kane Star Wars trilogy (the new ones suck) Fight Club Goodfellas Aliens Donnie Darko Man I could go on forever but I won't
  18. The AGB games engine is particularly impressive. Check out thier site here for pictures and movies. Thier 3d GTA3 style game looks ace. Another really impressive engine is the raylight studios one and the first game using it comes out next month (wing commander: prophecy). Check out thier screens and movies here. Edit: Wings uses the blueroses engine from raylight and it's pretty impressive. But look at the other videos to be really blown away
  19. I like it. The pictures are good and the colour scheme works well. There is a little clutter on the main page but apart from that, no complaints Nice Pug too
  20. If you do that I will hire Celine Dion to come round your house and sing personally to you for 12 hours straight! YES I am that mean Realy?, then I will send him the words for the songs I like. And I don't scare because I don't know who Celine Dion is. You don't know who Celine Dion is? Dude, you do not know how lucky you are
  21. Project 64 easily has the best compatability. 1964 is still better for certain games though. But yeah Project 64...

  23. That's a good question. All I have seen is new skins and new models built from old ones, so maybe it's not possible. Rockstar said that they would make Vice City PC a lot more mod friendly. I can hardly wait!
  24. That's at least one good thing about an Xbox. You will be able to play Splinter Cell, Doom 3, Deus Ex 2 etc without having to spend money on upgrades. Get a modchip and it's great for emulation too
