It's nice that they worked out the various problems so quickly. EDIT: It seems like some of the hacked cfg files don't work with the new ZiNc. In other words, you won't see hidden characters in SFEX2Plus. However, the config for SFEXPlus seems to work ok I've yet to test Rival Schools' config and a few others.

Now that we are/were talking about cheating in games... I used to do that all the time, until 5 or so years ago. I mean I never played an FPS without God mode and all the weapons. I would get a gay load of money at the beginning of every session of SimCity 3000... Then I decided to stop, and quite frankly I enjoy playing games "the natural way" better.

Personally, Kawaks Loader hated me. I could only get Samurai Shodown V Special to show up in Nebula Loader. Furthermore, the game only works on Loader emu's (+ NeoRAGEx)... unless you compile your own MAME or FBA of course. In the end it doesn't really matter how the rom files are named.

Well, I've had no problems with TPS games and I use the Winterblast's controller plugin that came with Aldo's frontend.

All in all, I'm very pleased with the new ZiNc. They even cracked the ZN encryption. Tondemo Crisis is so much fun that you must play it now! (I think it was named Office Crisis here on the PSX)

You mean ZinCGUI? Btw, The new ZiNc uses slighly different romsets than MAME (for some weird reason). You need to rename some files in the sfexp and sfex2p sets.

Yeah, it sucks and is outright strange, but it's not like to too lazy to type "zinc #" at the command prompt. NeoRAGERx: yeah, you should stick with the Glide renderer, as it's tailor-made for Voodoos (yeah, I have a first-generation Voodoo1 on my old machine). I'm a noob at using ZiNc through command line, but how do you map the keys from the command line?You don't; it isn't possible since ZiNc comes only with a generic JAMMA keyboard plugin. Just use Winterblast's plugin and configure it from ZiNcFE (You can, however, make ZiNc read a user-specified controller config file during boot.) oh, damn, I'd rather wait for DaFreak's ZiNc gui, maybe that'll list all the games So daFreak hasn't put own his own frontend yet? Shame.
