  1. These are AES dumps, as in, dumped from home carts whic aren't commonly found on the Internet anymore. The official builds are the only ones that support AES dumps. GhostLop does work in other versions as well, but it's prone to crash. As for the emulator crashing when importing, that is sometimes associated with a bug found in certain versions of Zlib.dll. Furthermore, some sets might crash in NRX if the files are not named [.rom] or have an underscore [_]. The latter is mainly a problem in the official builds though.
  2. Personally, i can't wait for Magna Carta (should be out already), the re-release of ICO + Shadow of the Colossus, and Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana.
  3. Are you sure you are using the EGCG NeoRAGEx and not the official one (0.6b) or gamelist hacks of the official one (0.8a/b/c or 0.9c)?
  4. Ned to second Xenosaga II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse and Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Oh yeah, RE4 too, it looks awesome.
  5. You need to browse to open your own P1 file in that patcher executable. The filename it shows at the beginning is just a guideline, since NRX works better with underscores in filenames (although I think EGCG can work with dashes as well).
  6. No and no, but certain people have the skills to make Neo-Geo CD games into arcade ports (Zintrick comes to mind and some others as well) Since the patches are executables, you just start one and it sohws you what file to patch (e.g. if it says 269-p1.rom, the P1 rom is what you need to patch; most patches alter the P1 anyway so there's little room for error). In SvC's case, since the only working set for NRX is svcplus, the fixes remove the extra Plus version title screen, fix some texts, fix buggy moves etc. Note that if you use the patch that unlocks the locked moves (bodyslam and evasive roll), the roll is buggy.
  7. Any of you guys have snow? Because we sure as hell don't.
  8. A blank part? Eh, as long as it work without a hitch, I'm fine with it.
  9. the bootleg version of SvC Chaos that works correctly in NeoRAGEx oly works correctly in the EGCG NeoRAGEx hack. Check my site and download it from there. The bootleg is also glitchy, so I suggest you fix it with these: http://www.geocities.com/svc_fixes/ Furthermore, you don't need to rename set to something else for them to appear in NRX's gamelist. Same thing with filenames, as NRX doesn't recognize sets from their names, but from the P1 file inside the archive. And yes, Neo-Geo games haven't been released on CD for a long time. Bresides, the loading times would be horrible.
  10. Some hidden characters on the side there... Looks like Rugal, Orochi Iori, Kusanagi, Orochi Yashiro, Orochi Shermie and Orochi Chris.
  11. the only thing I use is a hacked/modified P1 (B87049F2). Otherwise, at least to my knowledge, the set is the bootleg set with the addition of of a fix that fixed the infinite time symbol (I applied that myself). Same set works fine in Nebula Loader as well. If you need assistance, you know how to reach me.
  12. Be careful what you wish for. It just might happen. Well it's not that Silent Hill 4 didn't have visible references to Silent Hill 2 and vice versa, but also to the first and third games.
  13. I have, and it's still alive and kicking with no problems.
  14. Eh, Team Silent likes to skip story continuations briefly and sneak in another story.
  15. Ah, you might be right. There's also the fact that some PCB psecific transparencies are missing, which are handled by the special BIOS as well, AFAIK.
  16. http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=61837 I read about this earlier today. More fuel for the X360 craze.
  17. Zooming effect where?
  18. It is Japanese's fanaticsm of loving boys dresses like girl and imagine the boy is girl You can see a lot of example from Jap comics. Funny really, Briget was actually thought up to be a girl. But seeing how Daisuke said she was boring lacking the uniqueness, he made she a he. That does prove the theory on Japanese is correct No it doesn't. It isn't even in the same ballpark.
  19. If you want the latest EGCG NeoRAGEx, check my site.
  20. Don't you flocking dare hate Bridget. He kicks ass.
  21. Ergo, the name fits like a glove.
  22. You might have a point, then again, I have fairly little interest in getting non-supported encrypted sets working in Nebula. I have no problems, because mine is the fixed bootleg version.
  23. the author sure took his damn time with the alpha --> beta change.
  24. Fix is just Nebula's internal DAT variable. Altering that sometimes fixes certain games (i.e. get them to run). Then again, this is only my opinion and only ElSemi or Razoola might know better. Who knows? The S1 data comes from the P1, AFAIK. A game doesn't run without the S1 data. Have you checked from Neo-Geo's Test Menu that the language is set to english? Also the P3d file is redundant because you already have a P3 file. The only difference is that it's decrypted.
  25. Not possible and not going to happen. And the Chankast Team won't answer that question either. That's how it is.
