  1. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE mugen, and I am happy its helping keep the site active. I am also glad that we have a MUGEN forum and I used to post there form time to time. May start again sometime. I hope you do. I noticed you used to frequent there when I looked through the old posts, then I thought what happened???
  2. BTW, have you checked your best dc/ marvel edits thread? I posted some info in there.

  4. I've got lobo. I was psyched to see him, too. Did you notice the ai spams like crazy with that bike attack?
  5. Geez, this thread has kind of spiraled away from my original idea for starting it. I merely wanted to state that there's little or no movement for the past week or more in this part, and that's all. Somehow it's turned into whether or not you like mugen or whether or not it should be talked about here at all. I'm getting upset with what people are thinking about the very facet of this site that brought me here. I really regret even saying anything. I truly do.
  6. I'm glad I got my point across, Belthasar. Sometimes I meander a bit when i try to solidify my ideas, but that's exactly what I meant. I agree with and strongly believe that dreams take place in another dimension. And brainwaves play a big part in it. Dreams aren't hollow "brainfarts" by any means. It's an experience that's as real as anything else while your brain is in that sleep-state. And it's true that this space or dimension doesn't adhere to the constraint of time. Long, seemingly years long dreams can occupy the space of mere minutes. It's happened to me. I've dreamed myself acting as a different person throughout his entire lifetime, but awake and see I've been asleep for say a half hour. I just wonder if dreams connect you to a true other dimension, your subconcious, or actually a kind of spirit world of sorts made up of the energy from castoff emotions or other such energies. Yes, this all sounds crazy and slightly cultish/new agey, but it's a perfectly plausible concept. After all, most everything is based on electricity, so if electricity can be transfered through capacitors and such why can't your biological electricity or energy be transfered through another conduit or realm of existence by the altering of your brainwaves in the state of sleep. So we see eye to eye and I'm glad we could have this conversation. I don't get to have these often.
  7. Well? Do you have a band you really like that doesn't get enough credit? For me, the two bands I can think of right now are Helmet and Craw.
  8. Charlie Ryan and The Timberline Riders- Hot rod Lincoln
  9. That.....sounds.......AWESOME!!!! If you ever remember what it's called post it won't you?
  10. I forgot to mention that maybe the thoughts or brainwaves from your dreams were trying to come through, but you were semi-awake so your mother interpreted it as gibberish. So maybe what she heard was (This is gonna sound dumb) your dream language that has no equal or anything similar to it in the real world. just a thought.....
  11. Makes sense to me. I think that maybe when you're asleep your mother language (From country of origin) is so natural to you from hearing and speaking it that you can instinctually understand it, but if you tried to speak it in that state it would be gibberish. The brain is obviously functioning on a different plain during sleep, so while you remember hearing english or whatever language in your dream, if you tried to speak using those same brainwaves it wouldn't work because of the different signals the brain sends while awake. Did that make sense at all?
  12. I thought of another kind of funny story- i was sleeping over at my cousins house and we had to sleep in the same room. I'm laying awake on the floor because i have a hard time sleeping in other people's houses when all of a sudden he shoots straight up in bed and yells "THAT WAS A HUGE BUG!!!!!!!" and falls back to sleep. I don't think he woke up at all. That was weird.
  13. I never escaped the house while sleepwalking, but that is a horrifying thought nonetheless.
  14. Thanks mooney. Another question answered.
  15. I like you already. And, now that I'm in a Pantera mood... "Use My Third Arm" - Pantera i second that one.
