try deleting the game save for kixxx in your t and u data folders in your E drive on your xbox hdd.if that does make ki1 work then try doing a clean install of the game and launch KI1 first and see if that works.

Genesis Plus GX v1.06b public beta

* updated to the latest Genesis Plus GX core, see below list. (thanks Xtecuter73)
* Added soft reset option to the "in-game" menu for the GX core. A soft reset should not wipe the SRAM now.
* Fixed audio glitches when changing CDDA tracks on a Darkwater (bin/cue) image format. This may be an issue with a bug in the buffering code which may need looking over rather than using the current fix.
* ROM images that access CDDA data (aka Sonic1 hack and Rock -n- Roll Racing hack) now work correctly. Just do the same thing as with Pier Solar. Make sure the cue and/or bin file has the same filename as the ROM file. This works better with the cue file just make sure the filenames in the cue file are correct.

This is a new release of DesmumeX, the Nintendo DS emulator for Xbox. It is a huge improvement over the past release, because it has been updated to the last Desmume core (0.9.11) making compatibility much better. Also, a noticeable boost has been achieved, due to several optimizations of the new core, and the full use of the dynamic recompiler.
what is new
DesmumeX v0.8 is a huge improvement over the previous versions:
* The core of the emulator has been upgraded to the most modern version of Desmume (0.9.11), so the compatibility has increased a lot, and lots of games work now.
* A noticeable speed improvement has been achieved due to several new optimizations, mainly if you use some frameskip.
* All the dynamic recompiler is being used now, making emulation even faster.
* A bug that prevented to launch the emulator in HD modes has been hopefully fixed.

Genesis Plus GX Sega Genesis/Megadrive/32X/SegaCD/MegaCD/Sega Mater System/Sega Game Gear Emulator for XBox v1.05b Madmab Ed
by madmab* Fixed issue where sram was not being saved when running cartridges that access a CD (aka Pier Solar). BTW if you want to hear the music tracks for Pier Solar. Rename the FIRST track to match the name of your ROM image. So if your rom is named "Pier Solar.bin" then rename the FIRST track of the cd image to "Pier Solar.iso". This currently only works if both images are on your xbox hard drive.
so you can now play pier solar on your xbox but the added bonus is that you can have cd quality sound as pier solar lets you play the music and sound affects from a cd that was used on the original megadrive along with the sega cd attatchment.
also you should try emulating the sega master system and sega game gear with this emulator.they play really well.
here is a link to download this new emulator and the pier solar game and cd iso image.
just select the bin file to play pier solar and it will automatically use the iso file for the sound.

* So What Is It? *

This is a multicore emulator based off of two (possibly three emulator) cores. (See above title).

Mangled and converted to x-port (Madmab Edition) (and DirectX) by Madmab and XtecuterX73.

* Why Multi-Cores? *

Because I can? LOL. Actually Genesis Plus GX is so great that NeoGenesis is almost not even needed. Note I said almost. Unfortunately Genesis Plus GX does not have support for Sega 32x. So I decided to incorporate both into one interface with selectable emulator core. Also Genesis Plus GX does not support "Cue/ISO/MP3" image combos which NeoGenesis does support. So there you have it.
FAQS
Q: Can I use my old Neogenesis saves?
A: Yes. Simply rename your saves directory to "NeoGensPlusGX". Also be sure to rename "NeoGenesis.ini" to "NeoGensPlusGX.ini". You will also need to reconfigure your "saves directory to point to the new location. This can be done from within the emulator "Configuration -> Change Default Directories". Or you could manually edit the ".ini" file with a text editor. You might also have to change other default directories depending if they are not relative to the "D:" directory.
Q: I select a game but it keeps on loading the Neogenesis core!
A: If you elected to keep your original Neogenesis saves directory (See above question). A game with a save configuration will still use Neogenesis as the core. You can change this by pressing X when selecting a game and manually changing the core.
Q: I set the core to Genesis Plus GX for my Sega CD image but it keeps on reverting back to NeoGenesis for the core. Why?
A: Chances are the Sega CD image you are selecting is a "Cue/ISO/MP3" combination which Genesis Plus GX currently does not support. So the interface automatically selects NeoGenesis for your confusion.. uh I mean convenience!
Q: What do I do about UMKT?
A: The UMKT specific Neogenesis core is still there if you need it. However I would suggest using the Genesis Plus GX core.
Q: Genesis Plus GX is known to be able to play SMS and GG games. Can I play these?
A: Yes but there is minimal madmab edition support ATM until I decide what to do about this. No special controller support or pixel perfect yet.

you do have roms in your roms folder because if your roms folder is empty then it will not boot/load up.

release infoIve finished the updates for the U64 emulator for original XBOX. Fatalities are fixed, speed is 90% fixed (KI runs flawless and KI2 some levels are not 60fps but close) the GUI has been tweaked and reskined. did you try a clean install of the emulator,there could have been a problem when you were ftping over the files to your xbox hdd.
there might have been an error.
