The 3rd Edition Rules seem to be more user friendly than the 2nd edition ones, but i like them both anywayz.

Has anybody actually played this game. I haven't even seen it in any arcades around here, but i guess that should be expected living in Brisbane, Australia - where arcades aren't that popular.

Not necesarily. They could of just translated it using babelfish(can babelfish do Arabic?), just to make them look smart/feel special/lay the blame on others etc...

Yeah, its all about the games. Here is how I see the 2 systems; DS - long battery life(compared to the PSP), exclusive games due to the dual screen system, and mayb cheaper than PSP. PSP - More powerful than DS which unfortunately results in shorter play time, full media capability(movies, music etc).

How about Sparkster/Rocket Knight. That was pretty cool.

Thats exactly right. They may not be selling as well as Sony, but there is nothing wrong with the games and systems they are creating. They truly are among the most innovative video games company of all time.

I think the problem lies on how long the PSP battery will last for. From what i've heard, it's very unlikely to be more 3-4hours (correct me if im wrong).

Mortal Kombat!!! You've got to be joking!!! Seriously, that movie really did suck. But the worst video game movie was the Super Mario Movie. Man, was that crap!!!! Some movies have turned out to be great games, a prime example being goldeneye on N64. Unfortunately though, Video games based on movies and vice versa do seem to suck. The reason is probably because people will by it, no matter what, as they recognise the characters and setting. This makes developers lazy, as no matter what they do, or how good the game really is, it's guaranteed to make money.

Talking about emulation of the DS, how would this be possible with its 2 screen thingy? Edit:Actually, nevermiond. I just saw the screen shot of the DS. If they were going to emulate the DS, it would have to be some sort of split screen.

Jfls wasnt that bad, its easily sidestepped. It was the overall tekken 4 jin way to powerful. Not many moves (only like 50 or so) but all of them very safe, and very damaging. If tekken 5 fixes the balance issues, with the usual new characters and stuff, this game will rock. Btw, wasn't Baek killed of by ogre or something (correct me if im wrong).

Heh, I AM a fanboy since I'm working in Sony Anyway, I dun care who is winning who in this hanheld war, but the real winner will be US , the CONSUMERS. Nintendo will be forced to buck up and produce more quality games, not 10000+ crap games, give better accessories. We should just sit back and enjoy what both parties dish out. Yeah I gotta agree. Consumers are the real winners, as each company will have to agressively mark down the prices of their machines to try to get the edge on one another.

I think people mainly played that game for the gore factor. These days, it takes more than brutal graphics and gory fatalities for a game to succeed.

At least Lei is still there, as he is my favourite character. Now if they would make him top tier again......
