In case you couldn't tell, I like war games.. But since 2amGames shut down, taking Chain of Command with it, theres been a big empty hole in the net for a good war game. After hearing about it for a while, I decided to check out WarOnline.net. It's a war game thats still in open beta, but from what it has so far, it's gonna rock. You pick your teams color, and your name, and you jump right into a game. The games are level based; If you arn't good enough or are too good, you can't get into certain games. The Champaign games is what I love. Think of a turn based warcraft, just with lots more. You start off with just a few units and buildings, but as your technology improves, so does your choices. As long as you have the resources, you can build as huge an army as you want, or concentrate on defences at first and then overwhelm your enemies once they've been weakened. The only downside is the turns. Beginner games all have a turn of about 4 hours.. meaning take your turn, then go find something else to play. As you get into the higher levels tho, there are other types of games, with varying speeds and objectives. For those who just want the action, there are Battle Games too. You are given so many points, and can build as large an army as you want.. then, off to the battle field you go. If you build the best army, you win. The problem with their ranking system is there are no military ranks; seems odd to make a military game and not use military ranks. There isn't any sound or animation in this one either, but there are downloads you can get to make the loading faster. Otherwise, you play the whole thing from the downloads you get when you join a new map, and even an ancient machine like mine can play it with no problems. If you got IE 5.0 and Flash, you're ready to play. Overall i'd give this game a 7 out of 10. Might be something you'd love to do during those 10 minutes before and after work. Hey, if anyone else knows of a good war game, let me know.. i'm always looking for some fun. Kinda hard tho on a P2 300.

I don't know if this is allowed to be talked about on here.. if not, I apologize, please lock this. Background story: Man in alabama is arrested for car theft. Just turned 18, no criminal record. When he arrives at the station, he grabs the gun of the cop who arrested him, killing the cop, his partner, and the dispatcher. He flees in the police car he was arrested in, getting caught the next morning sleeping in the car. He's returned to alabama to await trial. The question is, do you think this person should get the death penalty? Normally I'm against the death penalty, because you can, all so often, kill the wrong person.. But this is caught on tape, he was caught in the car he escaped in, he used the officers own gun.. Plus these are police officers, these people are the reason that the streets are as safe as they are.. imagine how things would be without them.. Am I saying that cops are more important then normal people? No, but we have to do something to help ensure the safety of them... Please let me know your opinions on this.

Reminds me of another moderator I know on a certain board.. i won't name it.. but it's last name was HOME... You agree with him, or you get made fun of, insulted, and general felt like an idiot. IMO, moderators should act like just another person.. nothing spectacular, not god, just.. like me.. ugh.. then again.. a message board full of people like me... :jawbroken:

EGM, no question.. tho they recently redid the magazine.. and i dont' like the new setup.. it used to be each system was color coded, and it's not anymore, so you have to pay close attention to what is on what system.. They are very goofy tho, and they joke around so much, it just makes it really fun to read.

Okay.. I've had it with that cutesy unicorn type flying.. thing. Anyway, for those who know me from Anarchy At Home, I've gone back to my avatar form there. Expect it not to last tho.. I'm looking for a good Avatar.. but there is just too many to choose from.. We need an option, that like.. allows you to put in 3-5 avatars, and have them randomly load up when someone looks at your messages, that way you didn't have to choose

Samus Aran would be an excellent choice for new mascot.. WT.. i just read someone say that link is DEAD? WTH.. they killed him off in the Windwaker? Tho i would like to point out.. anyone notice that all the worlds of Hyrule, it's been different each time? maybe it's alternate universes, so link is only dead in that one world? =)

I'm pretty sure the PC version is pre-1988... 1. Railraod Tycoon (1 is MUCH better then 2, IMO) 2. Civilization ( The first was the best, onyl got worse with age) 3. Tetris 4. Zelda 5. Pacman (Ah, the years of my life i have lost/am losing..)

So i'm going through my files on my Pc.. the directory titled "Why did i download this".. stuff dating back to my old system.. And I find I have Neon Genesis Evangelion on my machine.. why? I'm not sure.. so I check it out.. has anyone seen this series before? It's a great series.. so far i've caught just episodes 1-6, and it seems to look very good... Oh, for anyone who cares, pay close attention to Rei in episodes 5 and 6.. the attitude, the demeanor, etc.. thats how I was growing up.. and still am to some extent. One question i had tho.. they refer to the "Angel" in the first episode as "The second angel" is there a series made before this?

If you enjoy Wolfenstein 3D, i HAVE to recommend it's sequel/prequel, Spear of Destiny.. SoD is the second game, but takes place before the first one... EDIT: This game is NOT abandonware.. and likely won't be for a long time.. with the new version of Castle Wolfenstein out.. it may be years before you find it at a place like the-underdogs.org or freeoldies.com I'll keep my eyes open for ya tho =) EDITING THE EDIT: Ya ya I know.. shaddup... Well you see.. thats cause of all the cool mods we got, like Me! (not me, the mod, ME!)... The reall intelligent and polite people we have writing on the boards.. All the information we have.. And how well set up the board is. .. oh ya, I guess GameCop did a bit too...

IMO.. it tastes just like slice.. nothing special at all.. They make all these horrid drinks, but good drinks like Mello Yello Melon (watermelon flavored) never get the big scene..
