As much as I hate timmah and whats happened over there.. the attack system was good, it had much promise, some other parts of it were okay.. But I have to agree.. we don't need something like that here.

Well all the Atari systems are on Cinders FTP... just look and enjoy.. If there is a system you want that he doesn't have yet, get hold of myself or cinder and we'll see what we can do =)

Okay junior, this is how it works... It takes a long time to collect all the rom sites, and by the time the set comes out, some are dead.. In case you didn't know, about 50-60 sites go either up or down each month on average... Expect there to be dead links. Live with it, or don't use it.

that is one of the hardest games in esistance to get good at for the 2600

The error message pops up if too many users are connected at once.. I assure you, they exist, they just really busy.. all of the roms on that list are on cinders FTP.. you can find it in the FTP forum.

I still have my Atari 2600 over 100 games, and adding to that every chance i get =)

My bad. sorry. The VB is the Virtual Boy by Nintendo. Reality Boy seems to be the only half-way decent emulator for it.

Wish someone would finally finish a VB emulator.. From what Cinder and I can tell, the best one out there plays about half the games, and there are only 37 roms.

Pops are out of control, I'll agree.. I can understand having some for money making, cause all sites need money.. but when you get beyond 3, it's a pain.

Ya i'd have to agree with that.. too many people would call NES/SMS, and even to some extent Genesis/SNES vintage.. would be really hard to say which could and could not qualify.

Stupid question time.. Would Atari 2600/5200/7800 and stuff like colecovision go under General Vintage Emulation, or would that be better under a console emulation?

***** is up and running it seems with the newest mame roms for version.62. It is however, a pay site if you wanna get the downloads at any real speed. You can register and download for free, but you'll get speeds of about 1.5kb a second. If you dont' mind waiting, you can get the roms at: I have already begun downloading the new roms. It looks like some roms are incorrect, but we're still trying to check them. All PASSED files will be uploaded to Cinders FTP and will be availible ASAP. These PASSED: ACE, ALPHAHO, AQUARIUM, ASYLUM BBALLS, BBBXING, BEAMINV, BRADLEY, BTLKROAD CATAPULT DBZ2, DIVERBOY ESCKIDS These PASSED, but with problems: AMAZON (All correct files, with the wrong names, ROMCENTER will give you a yellow on this one) CRUSNUSA & CRUSNWLD (Cinder reports the file size reported by romcenter is incorrect, also, the game is unplayably slow, possibly looking for a HD image.. he suggests turning off sound for fastest possible play) These FAILED: 4ENRAYA (Is really Gals Panic 4, missing 1 rom) DRAGWLD2 (Not a valid zip file) These were UNTESTED: AREA51 (Requires the 500mb Hard Drive Image) These were unreachable at this time: CAIRBLAD, CYVERN Edited by GryphonKlaw

For some reason, It keeps excluding files... for example: You have 245 of 247 Atari 5200 roms You are missing 0 of 245 Atari 5200 roms (2 excluded) Someone told me deleting the.db file causes this problem.. but i've never touched the.db file. it makes it really hard to find what files i'm missing if it won't tell me, you know?

It is, sorta, ya.. but many conversions of games like Star Ocean and the english conversion of Tactics Ogre, as well as MegaManX2 and X3 worked first on ZSNES, i thin some of them still only work on ZSNES..
