05-DEC-2006: Bug fix for welcome screen

 

Hi!

The recently released version (0.1.b6) introduced a weird layout bug for the new welcome screen, which caused the OK and CANCEL buttons not to show up. You weren't able to proceed... sorry about that ! The following code-snapshot of my current development tree includes a fix for this.

NDS version 2.1 available.

You must download it to play online with your NDS.

It fixes the same bug found on the windows version.

This will improve the wifi game.

For sure, it's 100% compatible with the windows version.

Instructions:

 

With devhook 0.45 for 2.71, emulate 1.50 and use psardumper to extract the firmware/s you want (remember that from 2.80 and greater this is specific to each psp so you can't just download a prepared dump).

 

The rest of the instructions are the same that for 1.50.

 

Note: it won't work with hen-c because it uses some functions from hen-d.

It has also been reported that this will work on PSPs with the TA-082 motherboard.

To be honest, who didn't see this coming?

In a recent issue of Offical Playstation Magazine UK Ed. It was revealed that Silent Hill 5 is currently in the works. However there is no word if Team Silent Hill will take the devopment seat but Yamaoka is still on the seat to create tracks and has said it's atmosphear will be a "Psychological Horror" akin too Silent Hill 2.
