L.S.D Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Johann is the EASIEST SNK boss I have ever seen.Any character can beat him, even Abobo.Trick?1. Use any character.2. Jump kick him, but try to push the kick button just as you are quite near him.3. Normally, he will block and counter, using one power bar.4. But if u kick out late, you would have landed safely on the ground, giving u time to block his counter.5. Then, sweep!! A guarantee hit!6. Repeat all the steps above. I have beat him with every characters to see the ending. He is that stupid.Beat him with the Double Dragon team to get another ending

I know neo geo have test to see those endings.ROTD let's you looks at characters sprites and the ending pics directly from the menu in Console Mode, but that's all. You need to play through the game to get the ending dialogue as well. And yes, Johann is damn cheap...rivaled by Igniz, but Igniz is so much cooler.
Xeon Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 im not sure what romset are you using but in the MAME ROMsets setting it to console mode gave me access to sprite viewers, endings and such.
