most of Bungie titles were pretty decent but not much of over-the-top stuff. Oni for example.

Marathon > All bungie games.

I must say Konami would be my second choice. (Behind Capcom)  The Silent Hill series,  the Gradius series, and Zombies Ate my Neighbors.

And for Metal Gear as well.

Yeah, I've only played the first one, not exactly my style of game. But still good.

Ah, that'd be Metal Gear Solid. I heard the hype, and it really didn't live up to it for me.
