Prican25 Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 ok heres capcom press release about street fighter aniversary straight from capcom's site: http://www.capcom.com/news/news.xpml?prid=450131 it clearly mentions only ps2 so i highly doubt its coming to xbox
Wizard Posted May 1, 2004 Author Posted May 1, 2004 Thanks for the info, someone told me it was going to Xbox also. Fixed and corrected the info.
Fatal Rose Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 Thanks for the info K'Dash. Sadly no news on Shenmue 3.
Gryph Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 Yipee! There will be TWO booths for Half Life 2 with two all new demos at E3!! I'm so happy!! At this years E3 Expo, there will be not one - but TWO - Half-Life 2 theatres to get a look at two different demonstrations with ALL-NEW content. [...] After checking out the demo at the VUG booth (#1200), then head over to the ATI Booth #1608 - also in South Hall - for another ALL NEW Half-Life 2 demo. - VE3D

Gryph Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 wtf is this Phantom console exactly, ive seen fake pics and heard about it... but ive never seen it, and i dont think it will be exactly popular eitherIt's a piece of vaporware. If and when this console is released, it will fail worse than the VirtualBoy.
Wizard Posted May 4, 2004 Author Posted May 4, 2004 The problem is, the console does exist. People have signed up for the beta and reviceved the console for testing. I'll beat some info out of my friend.
Inky Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 hell the 3do, jaguar, virtualboy ect ect also existed. that don't mean anything. the phantom busness model is flawed. no way is someone gonna buy a system that only plays games available on thier pc already (the system relies on broadband, people with or willing to get broadband most likely already have a decent PC), and pay a monthly fee. if it's a sucess I'll eat my shorts.
Gryph Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 Here's some more E3 news. Doom III for PC will not be shown but the XBOX version will be there. And apparantly the XBOX version doesn't look half bad.
Wizard Posted May 4, 2004 Author Posted May 4, 2004 The PC version is stated to be released sometime soon since Carmack doesn't want to show it again.
Gryph Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 Todd Hollenshead said that they are not at E3 because they are locked in completion phase. That just sounds so cool, completion phase.
Wizard Posted May 7, 2004 Author Posted May 7, 2004 To bump to a few week old thread just for updates
