Does the Prican version still have the old s1 rom support for games like garoun? I can't stand the long loading time in Gogo's version. >_

I've been wondering why you need a pmame.bin for KOF2003b with FBAx while you can simply use the p roms of kof2003b with pc FBA.

Shouldnt they be the same?

I tried rename kof2003f(include both the p roms of kof2003b and the strange pmame.bin) to kof2003 and load it with FBA-XXX, but it gave me errors said some bios files not found....really strange.

they're still trying to make the new dump work but it will take sometime as they need to figure out how to run it correctly.

HK$ i too have wondered why kof2003b worked with pmame but not the normal p roms but from what i remember reading, pmame rom puts the roms in order for fba-x to load it properly.

so my guess is basically its an odd ball thing in fba-x b4 but at least it works (i still hope that neopong's and the mame/kawaks cthd2003 would also work properly some day)

HK$ did you ran into any probs tryin to compile the latest gogo src? i get errors saying it couldn't open files that are in common folder.

someone told me to rename the folder to fba but still gives me the errors

i got mine in c:\xbe_dev\ and the other src's worked fine from there

Yes I got those errors the first time, but then I fixed that. :D

You have to change the path of the include files.

right clink on the project "FBA"(not the solution) > select properties > clink C/C++ > additional include directories > set it to where your xdk include files are, ie. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Xbox SDK\Samples\Xbox\Common\Include ;)

I think manto who edit the src installed his xdk on E drive, so he changed the path to E. :P

What's the diffrence between the MAME set cthd2003 and the one used in FBA before?

The MAME set has a funky protection scheme while the NRX (The one often used in FBA), has this removed/hacked out.

the mame/kawaks set is encrypted unlike neoragex set. iq_132 i did try the cthd2003 fix from your site but fba-x b4/fba-xxx locks up during the loading of the rom

also the neo-pcm2 does work on the original fba-x b4 src (minor gfx error in mslug4 waring screen but plays fine) and it works but when i tried it in in gogo's fba-xxx 5-10 src, all encrypted roms gfx were scrambled :P

i haven't tested it yet in the latest since i'm having probs with compiling it at the moment but i did mention it to gogo and he said he'll look into it for fba-xxx :D

yes i tried that and it gave me more errors so i just deleted the project file and used the one from 5-10 and it works fine :P

now for some good news: i finally compiled the latest version with iq_132's neo-pcm2 fix and i'm happy to report it works (still have the minor mslug4 gfx prob with the warning screen but the game plays fine)

so today expect a new version on newsgroups for those that kept asking and for those that want the xbe to pm me with your email but make sure you have the latest version of fba-xxx's files.

note to what was changed/added:

thx to iq_132 for the neo-pcm2 fix

encrypted versions of rotd and mslug4 are added to the list of roms
