Prican25 Posted December 26, 2003 Author Posted December 26, 2003 Anyway the files I need are: svc_p1.rom, svc-m1.rom (both from svcbl), 263-m1d.bin (mslug4n)264-p1.bin (rotdn)265-m1d.bin (kof2k2nd)270-p1.bin (samsho5) - I have the one with the bad CRC. dammit. ok for the svc roms use the link Mr. X posted on this page and just to let you know both plus and bl use the same m1. as for the samsho5 p1 i'm using he same one thats being called bad on kawa-x se and works just like the other so you should be fine with that also there was a link for the so called good p1 on page 2. as for the others look for the original roms (rotd.zip, mslug4.zip, kof2002.zip) and you can get the files you seek

I was trying to avoid downloading the full romsets again - I think I'll play about with joining the KawaX Plus rom files before I do that. And the overdumped files I have shouldn't stop the rom from working competely... eerr, or will they?? .... And thanks for the advice on SS5 - I did try the link on page 2 earlier and it was dead, but if others have got the "faulty" p1 to work I won't worry about finding a replacement
Prican25 Posted December 27, 2003 Author Posted December 27, 2003 Just in case that no else knew about this or not cuz i had a guy driving me nutz about it, Don't Change The Rompath.ini Its a bug that wasn't fixed yet on kawa-x v11 so make sure you leave it alone and put your roms in the roms folder

Thraxen I saw you post that you were going to put up a bit torrent link for the KAWA-X SE. I would be eternally grateful for this as I just downloaded your KAWA-X plus package which was excellent. Thank you Mr. X for your continuing work as I have just downloaded Metal Slug 5 and am eagerly awaiting its support (I hope that Thraxen includes this in his Kawa X se package).

I guess he's assuming I will do the same for SE. Which, actually, I am. But I was hoping to get a fix for RotD before I did (and now I'm hoping to include MS5 too).
