I disagree. Women have been becoming more, and more, independent from relying on partners/mates to secure financial, and familial, stability. With women (in 1st world countries) securing higher, and higher, paychecks, and on average getting better college educations, they're now putting themselves in sociologically unique positions where they can go for pure physical relationships. A sexual liberation of sorts that will continue to grow until more areas around the world are somewhat neutral/equal concerning financial status availability across sexes.

Here are my thoughts:

 

1) As you said, the batch of women you have been picking from have been "low-end women". The ones that have had probably too many sexual encounters, smoke, do drugs, drink a lot, and probably never finished college or high school. I think this is your problem right here. You need to change your social circle immediately. I have met women in the low-end category and I see them as "Medusas" (i.e. Greek Mythology and that once you look at their beautiful eyes... you freeze into stone/die). Some can be unbelievably hot, but once you form a relationship with them -- your life turns into a sideshow freak show. Too much unnecessary drama and too many of their needs they want fulfilled. Honestly, they probably can only be tamed by the historical alpha male that you portrayed -- "a man who won't take shit and will show the woman who's boss". Either way, I suggest going back to school, and finding women there. You'd be surprised how different they are and how you probably will never have to release the "historical alpha" in you.

I agree with your general premise GC...porn is to good...its easily accessible and free. But the way people use porn is where it may differ. Statistics say something like 70% of men aged 18-34 view porno regularly, and we know what they're using it for. Close to 90% whack off with porn or without. I understood Em's point a different way. All your points about the status of women in 1st world countries are spot on. Many women don't need men for financial support. In the U.S., women have surpassed men in college enrollment, graduation rate, and make up a larger chunk earning post secondary degrees. Not only have women caught up and passed us...but men are actually doing worse...and that's the double whammy. So what you now have is a growing population of educated, financially independent women looking for a mate with similar qualities. But the pool of men they have to choose from is shrinking.
