Namco is swamped with work right now, aside from other things, they're making Tekken X Street Fighter, and now this. Both of them are bound to be released in Japanese arcades first, making a NA, and EU console release seem that much far away.

Harada-san said TTT2 is going to be arcade first before console release. No word if it's going to be the same with TxSF.

 

 

Also as for Lars being in the next Naruto game, it's because Kishimoto designed one of Lars' alts.

The voice actor for Heihachi died, so they added in a younger version. That's my guess, but he really did die.

 

Since Tekken Tag is non-canon, pretty much anything goes.

Its been a long time coming, this sequel. Geeze how many fighting games will I get next year?!? MvC3, SF vs Tekken, Tekken vs SF, Tekken Tag 2...

 

Tekken tho, has always been my favorite. I can really enjoy some SF and Soul Calibur, but Tekken by far gives me the most fun and satisfaction. I cant wait to get my hands on this... I just wish the fighting maniacs back home had 360 and not PS3. Seems like all the serious fighter nuts have PS3. The midnight release of Tekken 6 was 90% PS3 owners.

A part of it might get attributed to the fact that Tekken has always been a PlayStation brand prior to Tekken 6. Same goes for lots of games before the X360 and PS3 were released.

I thought it was awesome! I love the inside joke they put in that new trailer with Ganryu's restaurant Chankho Paradise ad.

 

Tekken Tag 2 wasn't a complete surprise to everyone though; it seems that Namco is staying true to releasing a new Tag Tournament game every 3 Tekken games.
