I feel better after going to the gym today.

Glad to hear it. Keep it up. I guarantee a measurable difference after a week. Id say if you could, go every other day or so.

I used to go everyday when I lived right behind the gym until I moved away. Now I go a few times a month at most. Time to change that...I shouldn't let those $40/month go to waste.

Yea... I actually went swimming just after I posted about exercise and what not. At least it's something. I should start jogging too. I need to trim up. I already lost alot of weight. Better trim up, and bow out. Gotta make more of a physical presence. heh...

I'm going to take the opposite argument.

To the thread poster; are you sure you are not overdoing it, drowning yourself in a swamp of excess? Sometimes if you have too many games to play and too many films to watch, the abundance of everything burns you out, or makes you bored.

Moderation is the key.

I'd say that is prolly it. like I said I grab just about every new release 360 and PC game that hits. and I have an endless stream of movies all night long at work..... its all just too much.

When I got into SNES playing, before joing UG I was just downloading roms at about 1-2 a week and beating them prior d/ling another one. Then one of the first things I downloaded at UG was a SNES rom pack and right after it finished d/ling, I deleted it, I didn't want to play it anymore.

Well... Hmmm... I have this thing. It's like an obsession. OCD or something. I don't know. When I got my NES right near launch at age 7, I was the video game kid. I knew about so many titles. Around middle school I used to read alot of Game Pro, Then Game Fan... ETC. I would read and read about games Id never even get a chance to play.

Well I got into emulation... and it took over. I had games at my fingertips. ALL THE GAMES. So I download games that I sometimes don't even try. I can relate to what you guys say... perhaps that is another issue I have on top of what I suggested. I start a game, and then turn it off or find something to do after a short while. I have games on games on games, (I guess we all do) but I cannot seem to get into them (even though I really want to)

Perhaps it is a combination of all these factors for me. But I do know when I get to go out and do something out of the norm, have some fun that I don't regularly get to do... I get home and really (really) want to play something or other.

Well again... heh... I am sorry about the crushing walls of text. Thats me I suppose. I think perhaps I was mainly addressing myself. I really need to get some damn exercise frequently. Break the norm too.

I walked from school to my house today, 1 hour walk.

That's the best I can do, I can't run a mile like I used to anymore x.x.

I seriously need to get a health habit back, it was hard enough with one....

Damn that hurt... I did 20 and had to stop. If you remember, I had a shoulder injury back in January. I have a pinched nerve, and my shoulder doesn't act right. So since It works improperly AND it is weak now... I need to try and strengthen it. My shoulder is slightly tingly/numb... but I did it. Sounds silly, but little things like that can make a difference. Exercise...
