Check the news.

I, for one, am excited about this possibility. PSP has been my favourite handheld since its inception and I can't wait to play games like Shenmue on it :) Hopefully, the emu author managed to pull this off.

Suppose it is that Devia Eleven fellow who can't seem to settle on a username or avatar.

This won't fly- the PSP just doesn't have the hardware for this to even be realistic.

Don't be pessimistic :) One can always hope.

Even if you had theoretical 'perfect emulation' that used 1:1 hardware requirements of the original system, the PSP still doesn't meet that spec. No matter how efficiently the thing is coded it cannot reproduce DC games on a PSP at 100% speed (or even close). Ever.

Seems like making this in the first place is a fool's errand.

this will never get close to full speed......

to bad, a handheld DC is a dream machine.

It's not a Dream, it's a Tream. A Treamcast! Hardly what I would call a portable though, and disgustingly expensive.

I almost bought a treamcast a few years back.....

For one you would probably need to reverse engineer the dc games first and strip out there textures/maps/sounds and replace them with smaller versions of the sames files this happens alot when pc games are ported to home consoles to compensate for lack of superior hardware. btw there is also a yabause port for the psp that runs at like 1 frame a second but we already new that
