it's what FUD preachers believe the currency will be amongst Mexico, Canada, and the U.S

just think of any stupid reason for it; it's usually due to what they believe to be the disintegration of the borders

lol Lou Dobbs

He's been famous ever since he was first on tv complaining about illegal immigrants and that's all he really does.

yeah it is the conspiracy dudes that posted it on youtube. Im just surprised at how little anyone is raising an eyebrow to it, more because it seems to be happening without anyones consent.

it's not so much happening with out consent. the majority of americans know that an amero shared between mexico USA and canada can only help. somewhere down the line we'll have a world wide currency anyways.

Canadian notes are still being taken at toll booths I believe across the U.S. It's still cheaper too playing in Canadian dollars for it.

Myth: The SPP is a movement to merge the United States, Mexico, and Canada into a North American Union and establish a common currency.

Fact: The cooperative efforts under the SPP, which can be found in detail at www.spp.gov, seek to make the United States, Canada and Mexico open to legitimate trade and closed to terrorism and crime. It does not change our courts or legislative processes and respects the sovereignty of the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The SPP in no way, shape or form considers the creation of a European Union-like structure or a common currency. The SPP does not attempt to modify our sovereignty or currency or change the American system of government designed by our Founding Fathers.

No more bull$hit spewing about this being a real possibility. Read and read well - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_currency_union

The differences in economy, the rising US debt and falling Canadian debt as well as Mexico being nowhere on the radar in comparison, giving up control of interest rates and the US losing out on net revenue from it's currency being used elsewhere make this IMPOSSIBLE!

Amero is a term coined by some nutjob that we here in Canada should export to China, and has rolled off the tongues of many a tinfoil hat wearer since. It is not an official term, and it isn't even being considered. Infact, the ONLY country even remotely interested in this, is Mexico.......because they're the ONLY ones it would benefit.
