Inky Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 Ryan I'd like to hear your take on Machida - Rua tonight. SPOILERS: I think Shogun was ROBBED. there is no way Machida won 3 rounds. I had the fight 4-1 with Machida winning the 3rd. I think the UFC is going the way of pro boxing and that fight was fixed so the Vegas Mob wouldn't have to pay out all those 4:1 bets. I think Dana has put so much effort into selling Machida to the public that he would not let him lose this fight unless he was KOed. A rematch has been announced. I re watched the fight again and played the exchanges in slow motion. I still feel Shogun won however the first three rounds were EXTREMELY close. I think they need to force him to fight at 205. Aside from Vitor/Sonnen there is not much left a 85. Props to Edgar for beating Penn, super close fight though. Kendall/Munoz was epic.
