If I like Deathnote, what other animes would everyone recomend?

That's a pretty difficult question, Death Note is essentially one in it's prime. I don't know of other animes like it, considering that the only animes I really watch involve fighting, this anime does well to keep me interested without it.

 

I would also like to know what others would recommend, some animes similar to Death Note. But I would personally recommend Samurai Champloo or Rurouni Kenshin .

If you like death note you would probably like Monster. I haven't seen it myself but from what I heard from ryder it seems good and mystery type. Except it's not as exciting it's more story like. If you like smart characters like Light. Code Geass would be a better option.

The only one I can think of similar is "Spiral", It's kind of a mystery type anime.

Monster is kinda similar, its alot slower and it takes awhile for it to become completely engaging...

Gantz is also great... much more fighting and boooobs, but an interesting and deep story aswell.

I've only seen (I think) about 3 shows of Gantz. It does have a amazing story but some of the gore is pretty bad.

I won't stand near a subway anymore after seeing that first episode.
