ken_cinder Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 First, those are a RAR archive library. Extract the first file, and you'll wind up with a file with the extension .gcm or .iso. (GCM is a disc image file, for Gamecube discs). As for playing it on your PC, not happening buddy. Gamecube emulation hasn't progressed enough for that game to be playable on ANY PC.

Wizard Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Bottom line. No matter how powerful of a beast you have, that game won't run with any GC emulator. Simply because, GC emulation is pretty much nil at the moment.

Agozer Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Comparing PC game performance to emulation performance is like comparing apples and oranges. GameCube emulation is too slow no matter what the hardware configuration on a 32-bit Windows. No top of the line graphics card will help that (ironically, the type of graphics card you have play pales in comparison to what is required from the CPU, since all the emulation is done by the CPU) With a 64-bit dual core CPU and a 64-bit operating system, you can use the x64 build of Dolphin, which will be a lot faster (cause it's using two cores) but that doesn't still make games that did not work properly before work better on the x64 version. Yes, people have managed to boot Twilight Princess on Dolphin, but AFAIK, since the emulation is lightyears from perfect, you'll either get something or a whole lot of nothing with the x64 build. Besides, if you don't know how to work with files you pirate, you shouldn't even be looking at emulation. Learn the basics first, then tackle emulation.
