Im not having a go at anyone or anything but cmon guys,maybe a bit of feedback or contributions to other threads to keep this forum going. So hopefully this wasn't directed at me Just got it installed. Found a few caveats newbs like me run across so here they are for others that install this. Don't zip up screenshots into individual zip files per game. It allowed me to load up Coinops+ scan for roms but when I tried to launch a games it would just "black screen". In order to resolve I did a few things - I unzipped all the .png files into the directory and removed the zips.Also because my DVD burner is broken I have been playing off the HD with 500mb worth of ROMS. I suspected it might need the bios zips in the rom Dir so I made sure those were there plus the games I wanted. Specifically I made sure neogeo/konamigx/stvbios were present - may have been more but that is all I remember. Also I made sure to load up Coinops+ - let it scan then exit out so it saved the settings this took 30secs-1 min. Then the next time I loaded up Coinops I was in much better shape and can see the games and select them to play. Also I don't know if anyone noted this or if it is because I am only using a 64Mb Xbox (no 128 upgrade) but Bangball.zip after I completed the first level I got a time bonus and the game slowed down to a horrible crawl. Not sure if this is known or not. One other question I had for anyone else is can use romcenter and splitmerge them or does the set have to be a full unmerge? THANX

A Murder of Crows Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 So after 6 months of trying to keep my relationship together, i've finally given up. I'm now starting to go back into xbox work again. My first projects include an update to Krayzie's NDure Installer and to harcrofts xbox 1 DLC installer package. After that, i'll be here to do more testing, working on the spreadsheet I missed the coinopsplus torrent however, so if someone can link me to a zip with the update, i can have that ready to go. Depending on interest, i MAY do another run with a torrent once i have everything together and working properly

Thanks for this splendid emulator.I have two questions: ^__^ 1) I have two rom directories: e:\emulators\roms\ and e:\emulators\mame\roms\ coinOPSplus recognizes the roms and shows them in menu. however no rom is loaded. any rom is present in the same directory of the emulator however.2) Is it possible to have all the old options of mamedox? example: settings to modify directly the rom directories from the GUI, VMM settings directly from the GUI etc.? Did you get the roms with the CoinOPs package? Do they work in Mame on your PC? Delete any other older CoinOPs folders if they exist, they end in 4 or 5 instead of the 9 of CoinOPs+. Also try deleting the TDATA/UDATA entries for CoinOPs+ and retransfer them to your Xbox.
