BritneysPAIRS Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 Im looking at new settings at the moment and one is to remove the spash screen...free play was added to 2 or 3 games so I wont be adding a setting sorry....there are some new ones going in but more soon on these.
Cospefogo Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 BP, I think it would be nicer to see some LETTER SORT SEPARATOR while we scroll the game list, in both ways (regular scroll and fast scroll [Y+scroll]) As I mentioned to you previously, this was one of my suggestions.Below is just a quick mock-up illustrating the idea. dr99 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 how about the ability to disable favorites altogether in the next version. i have some friends that get stuck in favorites mode and have to call me so i can tell them to push the button ,that is right in front of their face on the screen, to return to normal mode.
A Murder of Crows Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Some suggestions: Keymaps - Over all, great work, though i find myself trying to use the X and A buttons for most games, instead of the A and B buttons....more comfortable to the thumb, easier access. Normally, i map X for action/shot, A for Jump, and either Y or B for Special/grenade/bomb (games like Final Fight fall in this category). I was wondering if there was a way to set a second keymap for everything that uses a set up closer to this, and maybe an easy way to swap between the 2 (or more) main keymaps. I normally use either a Sega Saturn controller, a Street FIghter 2 Anniversary Fighting Stick, or an unmodified Microsoft S type xbox controller to play on MAME, so it would be nice to be able to select any of those types and assign a set keymap depending on what controller is in what port. Probably way too much to ask for, but it would make it super sweet. It's probably perverted me to no end. I would love to see this too on the games where you have to pull the trigger to turn. you could also make rt fire and lt grenades. A Murder of Crows: have you tried going into the options (back and white) and swapping the buttons around for games like final fight?

I just can't get past the "push pedal to start". What is the pedal button. Would love to see an HD/16x9 version looking forward to the classic MK games coming soon! Yeah, I was thinking the exact same thing when playing TMNT today. 2-player is fine but it'd be nice to have 4-player versions available too for when friends come over. I know you said USB mouse & trackballs aren't supported in CoinOPS, but is there any plan to support them in the future? There's a lot of games that could *greatly* benefit from this (Centipede, Cabal, Rampart, Golden Tee I & II, Capcom Bowling, Arkanoid to name a few). And USB-to-Xbox adapters are pretty inexpensive, so it could be a practical addition that people would use. Thanks for CoinOPS! I can't imagine going back to MAMEdOX after using it.
