BlackKnight Posted July 25, 2007 Author Share Posted July 25, 2007 Personally I reckon Metal Gear Online is a splinter mode stripped from MGS4 proper and turned into its own game so that it can be sold on all the platforms at get around this icky exclusivity business. My guess would be that is where the revenue will be made up- not by an MGS4 port per se, but by this new game cobbled together from MGS4 assets. It was just re-released for the PS2 with more features, this was probebly done because MGS2-SubStance got alot of negative feedback on the port (looking medicore and handles like a PoS on Xbox).
