Agozer Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 The fact that the demo saw the light of day is enough of a reson for me to give the game a try. And I love it. It has good graphics, sound, and some interesting twists in terms of level design and weapons. Furthermore, it runs a lot smoother than Quake 4, even though they use the same engine. btw, does anyone have a link to that 1998 interview?
BlackKnight Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 (edited) Yeh it and a lot of other Prey trivia is here. What I want to know is if the 4 tracks KMFDM recorded for Prey back in 1998 have ever, or will ever be available to get anywhere. Ideas? Edited June 27, 2006 by DragonKeeper
Gryph Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 That question has been asked so many times but the only answer we've gotten so far is that Apogee still owns the rights to those songs. Kind of a useless answer but I hope they'll release them someday.
Shibathedog Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 i think its amazing that apogee is even still around im gonna get this game on 360 when it comes out for sure, it looks really cool
Dooz Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Cliffs note version: Just don't fu cking play it. We don't need another douchebag coming in who hates FPS games because they're all the same to him. And frankly, people don't care when you said it once.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I said it was ordinary. GryphonKlaw said, "Not really." Agozer agreed. I explained how it is ordinary. Where did you get the idea that I said it sucks? I DID NOT SAY IT IS A BAD GAME. READ. I SAID IT WAS NOT ANY DIFFERENT FROM THE REST. Is it ordinary? Yes. Is it a bad game? Depends on the person. Obviously I'm going to think less of it, since I just explained how bored I am with crap (Oh, hey, I still didn't say it was crap, look at that). Jesus christ. Go back to grade school.
Smilee Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I enjoyed the demo somewhat, it just needs work on the voice acting.

And that is my counter-retort. Your pal, K`razy K`dash!
retroK Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I played the demo and it ran very smooth. It is a nice game but nothing too exiting IMHO.
Lucandrake Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 This game, made my MUST BUY LIST !! I played the demo about 30 times already on the 360....., I just can not believe how fun the game is and so on and so fourth. I can not wait for this release!!!
Gryph Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Hey, do you have a camera? If so, could you snap a few pics of the Prey 360 menu? I hear it's pretty badass and I would like to see it for myself.
Lucandrake Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 (edited) sure let me go give it a shot, I haven't seen the pc menu at all though so let me find a pic and see if it's the same edit: Can't find a pic so I'll just ask, does the pc menu have the eye of a eagle as it's background? Edited July 3, 2006 by Drake
Gryph Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 No, it's not the eagle. I wouldn't ask if I didn't know for sure it was different.
Lucandrake Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Well, lightning strikes the menu from time to time, the more you go deep into the menu's the more the eye looks as if it's a portal, and that pretty much sums it up.
Gryph Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 That's neat. I thought it would be a lot more different.
