iq_132 Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 /me wubbs ninty. Though if Sega made another console I would buy it at any price.
fischju Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 the PS3 is extremely powerful, i might get it for homebrew (prays for full windows support) Im getting a revo at launch. I truthfully hate xbox gen controllers
Wizard Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Aha! With the recent sighting of Red Steel, the PS3 and 360 are more powerful on paper!
Shibathedog Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 /me wubbs ninty. Though if Sega made another console I would buy it at any price.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Amen, theres been info leaked/discussions made in sega about some kind of hardware device to be released during the next generation of consoles (Playstation 4, etc) New Console? Maybe, Hope so, would kill for. but about revolution, i will get one after i get my PS3, but definitley getting one
ken_cinder Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Give up your dreams of Sega and console hardware, for Sega is owned by the almighty Pachinko! Lover of arcade hardware, Sammy!
teo95gr Posted April 10, 2006 Author Posted April 10, 2006 Not sure. Depends on how I like the controller and the variety of games for it. It's a very neat idea but I'm not sold on neat ideas alone. Out of all 3 of the new consoles though I'd probably get a Revolution first because a) It will definitely be cheaper, It will be different and not more of the same, c) New Super Smash Bros., d) the mere possibility of playing old school Nintendo games over the Internet.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>What about Kaillera? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>It is WiFi, not Kaillera, right?
Gryph Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Kaillera is a multiplayer thing for emulators, not a type of network. Nintendo's service will be Wifi, which kind of sucks for me since I don't have a wireless connection.
ken_cinder Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Well Nintendo will either release an adapter (I'm betting on a USB Wifi Dongle) or minimal Nintendo branded AP that can be hardwired to the rest of your setup. Either way the solution will be an inexpensive one, cause they know nobody will buy it or use the online features if they charge too much for it and don't have Wifi hadware.......like me. Wireless sucks btw, I'm still heavily turned off by a technology that has been in the consumer market for so damn long, yet it still so unreliable and underpowered.
2eyez Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 i'll get it when the price goes down to 100 dollars or i get a good deal off ebay or something like that. It'll be a few years but i can wait.
Wizard Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I have wireless and ADSL! MUAHAHAHAHA! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But you aren't master poster. So bah!
