N_Cannady Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 (edited) hey ya'll last time i got my ass handed to me cause i asked the wrong question. but i'll let that go cause whoever you are you guys are losers(oh yeah)!!!! but i was in the wrong too so i guess that makes me a loser(LOL)!!! but anyway, i got the roms for samsho5 right for neogeo and i cant get it to work for mame32. why is that? if anyone has a solution it would be most welcomed!!! iq_132 Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 lol, the only way you're going to get it to work with MAME32 is compile your own build or find a build that supports your particular set.
Agozer Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 MAME doesn't support newer games, so if you want to get it to work, do what iq_132 suggested. There are alternatives to MAME, like Nebula or Kawaks Loader... or even NeoRAGEx.

Ash X Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Okay, I managed to convert the neoragex version of samsho5 to a comaptible kawaks 1.46 w/ loader version, and the thing actually runs! But I'm stuck with the same problem as before- the practice mode STILL doesn't show up I was told that this was a problem with nrx, so i got kawaks 1.46 + loader, but the same problem persists. So maybe it's a problem with the rom? Can someone confirm they have got the pratice mode running in either neoragex or kawaks?
Agozer Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Samurai Shodown V doesn't have a Practice Mode if my memory serves me correct. Or then it has. Samurai Shodown V SPECIAL has, for one.
