I don't like the waste of batteries. Unless it has a rechargeable stand/battery, flock wireless.

I used to worry about that too, until I got my first wavebird for my GC. I've had it for about two years now, and I've only had to change the battery in my main (1st player) bird once or twice. And yes, it has seen extensive use. In fact, I bought a pack of 8 batteries as back ups when I got the controller, several of which have since gone to unrelated devices, and I still have 2 left.

Ah, my only experience is my Dad's wireless keyboard and mouse and that thing eats em up like Shamu.

I have 2 wavebirds for my gamecube... i also have 400 empty AA battery packages

It helps if you turn them off when you're not using them. :\

For some reason, wireless PC peripherals tend to eat batteries worse than anything else I've seen. No idea why. Haven't messed with the newer bluetooth stuff though.

I thought this thread was about the fake PS3? O well, just wanted to comment on the fact that it looks like a car tire

Edit:Or one of those little HOT WHEELS plastic race tire boxes

Well, that settles it. It's fake. Now let's just mock Sony.

Done. Sony, you are a potato.

Umm why do you have to kiss the rumble features goodbye? pretty sure wavebird wokred fine for it unless it doesn't?

Wavebirds are amazing, but no, they don't have rumble features.

The only reason they leave them out is to appease Gryph - Rumble features are battery suckers since they involve moving parts.

Wireless controllers should be made with a switch to turn the rumble off and on. This way those concerned about battery life could switch them off. Logitech's wireless controllers for the PS2 and XBox are made this way.
