Ryuken Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 I know that the PSPemu is fake but me and my friends were talking about the PSPemu and they said that there is one. The people working for Sony each have an PSPemu in which they test the games on it. Alot of people got connections with these kind of people but unfortuntly non of my friends know them. I will keep in touch with them since they are very good at getting news. Peace.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> well when u do find it post it here first so 1emulation could be the koolest emulation site, haha
Dooz Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 No, i'm pretty sure that's real. Game developers do have emulators that come with the SDK to help you test the game amdist developmet. But by releasing it to the public, you could possibly jepordize your future in the gaming business, and I doubt Sony'd ever trust you again.
kaioshade Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 You never know. people act like there are not scanline options in emus nowadays.
Wizard Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 S`all about the scan lines. Why couldn't these fakers just use a screenshot with some touchups. It's hella easier then taking a perfectly viewed shot of a PSP.
Shibathedog Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 What is the big deal with scanlines in emus? I HATE scanlines, they annoy the hell out of me, it makes everything look like crap! I always turn them off! I dont care if its less like the real console that way, its the same graphics and it looks better! 50% scanlines means 50% less game on screen!

Agozer Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Scanlines do have a purpose: to simulate the TV effect and lower the requirements to run something at full speed. Scanlining simulates interlacing but it really isn't the same on a monitor than on a TV screen, that's why it looks "crappier" in emulators
skid Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 http://www.psplus.tk/ (has a download link for the emu but it seems dead) Downloaded the "emu" from this link. The main exe is an ocremix MP3 renamed into an exe. I didn't bother starting up the emu.

Agozer Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 The whole thing screams 'attention whore'. And some people are bound to pay attention more than enough.
NukeFall Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Well it is a fake emu but hey its got a good music file >>
Agozer Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Well it is a fake emu but hey its got a good music file >>Sure, most OC remixes are worth a listen.
Lucandrake Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 bleh, the emu don't even start , don't bother with this thing >.>.
Rag Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 so the lesson learned is if you want the PSP emu, go to www.ocremix.org
