meh any pirate worth his salt (gar!) knows not to do official updates. there are other ways to get your updates then to log on to M$ site and let em scan your pc.

I tried win2k but it seems like the sega saturn of OS's lol. ms turned it's back on 2k before it really got anywhere.

it doesnt matter to me i got 2 or 3 legit copies of xp but i would never be stupid enough to get any updates from MS ,

I wouldn't know why it would be stupid. Some updates protect your computer from critical flaws. There was this bug I read in the news that does something with media player and ms released a fix for it the next day. Being the paranoid type, i appreciate stuff like that, but maybe that's just me.

2k is pretty good for networking, but it does have it's flaws when your gaming.
