albrinasbf Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 i could not open the files testdiv.gba, bioshack.bin, testadd.bin & testmul.bin
Two9A Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 i could not open the files testdiv.gba, bioshack.bin, testadd.bin & testmul.binOh, sure you could open them. They just don't give any graphical output; this is by design. * testadd: This is just a test ROM for the ADD instruction, and should be stepped through in debug mode.* testmul: A test of MUL, to be stepped through also.* testdiv: A test of a divide algorithm, which happens to test the overflow flag; should be stepped through.* bioshack.bin: My small hack of the GBA BIOS; probably shouldn't be loaded in as a game ROM. Thanks for trying them though!

Bloodthirsty Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 How come when I load a ROM it just freezes basically?
Agozer Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 How come when I load a ROM it just freezes basically?Because the emulator doesn't work properly. Nuff' said. Plus, it doesn't run commericial games.
Bloodthirsty Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 yes but I mean the test ones...it just says paused down the bottoms corner.
Agozer Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 yes but I mean the test ones...it just says paused down the bottoms corner. Are you talking about the ones already reported to be working? If not, my previous statement still stands.
Gryph Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 yes but I mean the test ones...it just says paused down the bottoms corner.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Did you try running them after loading them? I think you press F3 to run. Maybe Two9A implemented load and run but I'm not sure.
Two9A Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 F4.Fine, fine, fine. I'll change that one value in the INI file right now. I've been getting tens of complaints about this
Robert Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 (edited) I don't know why people couldn't change that value themselves, or press F4. It's not like it's the end of the world. PS hello bloodthirsty welcome here. Don't say the name of the other place, it's against the rules. Edited March 10, 2005 by robbbert

Bloodthirsty Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 (edited) Hello Mr.Robbbert! I did edit the value myself after many times trying to load them, but it says running down the bottom with the number of frames and so on, but it's just a black screen. EDIT: When I run: afire.gba, leonard.gba & wstein.gba and I open the pallette after I run it, I can see colour, but if I have the pallette open and then run the game It's just blank, but the screen is still blank. sigloiv Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Try downloading the newest version right now. A lot has been updated since you last tried to get the demos working.
