Agozer Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 (edited) Yes, I knew about this. Edited November 28, 2004 by Agozer
Ghosty Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 I Know That Capcom Did Something Like This But I Didnt Know This About Snk.
Gryph Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Can you take pictures of it in game? Does it look better than the emulated version with filters and stuff enabed?
KyokugenKiss Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 i saw it, it came with part 3 too, it was on sale at fry's electronics for 6 bucks a while back ago but i was like eh, i have kawaks! and I LOVE KAWAKS!!!!
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 yeah I grabbed this from a friend once, but there were no notable improvements
Ghosty Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 yeah I grabbed this from a friend once, but there were no notable improvements<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hell Thats Better Thank Capcom's Street Fighter 2, I Have It And Its Worste Than The Emulaors.
L.S.D Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I played this SS long time ago.You are better off playing the rom
Xeon Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 old Arcade to PC fighting games ports seems to end up being mediocre than emulating them. i have SFZ2 for PC here and even FBA emulation ran it better on my comp. the framerate isnt the issue but music doesnt sync like the arcade version does and the intro is on a blurry AVI file (like the PSX version), i think i can safely assume SFZ/SFA isnt any better.
Agozer Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 (edited) I have the PC version of Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo and Street Fighter Alpha 2. Both are very good ports. Then again, when I discovered CPS2 emulation, those became sorta obsolete. Edited November 29, 2004 by Agozer
Xeon Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 guess thats also the reason why Capcom itself supported emulation afterall (you know, the Hanaho Hotrod)
L.S.D Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 I have the PC version of Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo and Street Fighter Alpha 2. Both are very good ports. Xeon Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 its not that bad to be honest, its quite good like Agozer says. its just that the PSX and PC version were, to put it simply, PORTS and emulating the arcade version is like playing the real thing. its like having to choose between the real thing and a dumbed down port (by which the answer is obvious). do the math.
NeoRAGERx Posted December 1, 2004 Author Posted December 1, 2004 SFA2 PC is ok imo...and puzzle figher is nice too
