Post news as you get it, folks, I can't run this all-nighter through Wednesday (although fear of the election outcome has me sleepless... for now...)

So, by the looks of it, Yuki Enterprise has decided to revamp SSVS once more... Is this the *Final* Neo-Geo game? I wonder what was so wromng about SSVS that they decided to start this one?

Oh well, probably the censorship and bugs maybe.

I'm waiting for this now and let's see how it pans out.

It's going to be on Atomiswave.

I wonder how this co-exists with SS6, which is reportedly already in development...

As I see it, either they're using a new 2D engine for SS6 and are using the old SS5 engine for one last hurrah, with the benefit of AtomisWave's much greater storage capacity (and maybe with new backgrounds), or SS6 is really going 3D.

Can anyone get a translation of that page?

This is interesting...perhaps Yumeji, Poppy, and other characters left out will be playable. It blows that there are no Atomiswave arcade machines near by.

Hey, there isn't even an arcade near me... Oh wait, yes there is, but it's part of a theme park and it's closed for the winter. :D

There's nothing that tells me this Final is even Atomiswave. The sceens clearly show the LEVEL # in the bottom center of screen which tells me its MVS.

ALthough they said they would no longer support AES (home console) there was never any official word about ditching the MVS completely. This Final version may be the FINAL release for MVS hardware.

Who knows, I just hope it is more readily available than SSVS.
