Well from what i read pretty much until now is nVidia is the way to go. I am thinking about the 8600 GT or GTS. The way it is looing so far since dx10 is a new thing and they had to make a graphics card capable of that the 8 series came out, so they are almost like the 7 series but with dx10. I am not going to hurry for the reasons above this post so i guess i will wait and see if other cards come out that are better and around my price range. Patience is a virtue . By the way, why isnt DDR3 worth it. iS it worth it 4 or 5 months from now?

Isnt thier auto overclocking. I read about it a little. Some say its bad and some say its good. I wont try it until probably the speed isnt good enough for games or if i need a new pc thats faster in which i will give it a try first. Do you recommend auto overclocking??

Do I even have to say this Vista SUCKS with CAPITAL LETTERS there you have the latest info ^__^ How about everybody team up and lets make a newer version better than Vista and even better than XP. What about if you reset your computer with the new graphics card in it. Do you have to remove it first then but the old one then install the new one.

After alot of thinking and digging through my wallet, i finally made up my mind. 1. Switch my graphics card with my friend which is in the 7 series. 2. Wait until Winter break, that way all the games on the PC are out (Assassins creed, bioshock, crysis, Oniblade...) 3. Check and see the graphics card required to play them and the cpu speed and all that yummy stuff. 4. Buy what ever needed with my wallet for of cash (by then it will be) All those games, or at least most games will come during school and this is one of the most important semesters. The only reason so far i wanted a new graphics card is to be able to play Lost planet. I was less then a hair away from buying the 8600 when my friend decided to switch graphics card since he does not play any games on his PC. I quick question, by my understanding you have to install new graphics cards. Well what happens if you do and then decide to RESET (not RESTART) your computer. Since it returns it to factory settings does that mean i have to put my old graphics card in or will it install it automatically. It would not make sence to switch it since you Can buy a whole new PC and setup from scratch.

I dont thing the next president will be either black or woman. I dont think americans are ready for that even if either one of them has the best answers to the questions they answer. As to who will win, i could care less, my country will stay the same.

Isnt that indirectly linking to a pron site . Back to the topic, thier is one way to keep it running for a number of years but it wont last you forever, probably enough untill the emulator is fully capable of running games on the pc. I dont remember the name but like what cinder said about the DMS4 if you run into problems well...your screwed. Patience is a virtue The emulator that is.

I havent watched a good movie in a long time. And by that i mean a month. I hope this movie is at least worth watching. Come to think of it, i didnt watch alot of movies in the past month.

My computer can actually run Halo 2 according to that site. looks like im going to be busy downl...buying the game. Actually my computer can run all of those games on the recomended setting if i got the new graphics card and most on the minimum ruquirments with my present card.

Isnt that spam. Well anyway, i wouldnt be surprised if this game was like crysis were there are hardly any computers that can run it. It will be succesful on the 360 for sure. I pissed my pants the first time i saw the trailer. I wanna kill the big daddies .

This game is aewsome. They should make a wii version and a DS version. People will buy.

Is thier a site that you guys would recommend to buy the 8600GT or the 8500GT. Circuit city has some good deals some of the time but are thier better sites.

Ive had my experience with my old laptop and boy were the drivers a kick in the nuts .

Do you think ATi would be better than a 8600 GT/GTS at about the same price. Also whats the difference between GT and GTS. GTS is more expensive i know that but is thier something alot better to make it 100$ more. How long would a 8600GT not GTS (b/c they are more expensive) last me.

NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT. I was looking at nvidia's site and it seemed more like the 7600 was better than the 8500. http://www.nvidia.com/object/graphics_cards_buy_now.html. Even though you would think the higher the number the better . What would you guys recommend. If thier are better ones let me know. I am willing to pay for one under 100$. Perfurably around 70$. . I would also like if it can connect to my tv so i can use my tv as a screen.

This is my memory, i think its good enough. What graphics card would you guys recommend that will at least play lost planet, assassins creed, UT3, and Gears of War.
