  1. Good for you Gryph. Glad to see you are executing your constitutional rights. I have shot everything from a 22 caliber to a 60 caliber. My favorite gun is my 7mm Remington varmint special. I use this till kill pesty ground hogs and to compete in shooting contest. Thought there is nothing like shooting a 9mm glock that I have. My favorite shotgun is a 20 gauge Ithaca that I had modded to shot all five rounds in 3 second. Got a sweet trigger and no kickback. Gotta love them gas operated shotguns. Yes I use it all fall I hunt a lot. Yes I kill animals but I eat them as well so shot me. So keep it up and shot everything you can get your hands on. Nothing like it for a real rush without damage to the brain unlike drugs kiddies.

  2. We have lost a longtime fellow emulator and gamer. He passed away on 04-11-2009. He was quite young. I had talked to him a few times on MSN Messenger and got to know him a bit. He was a real honest tell ya like it is person. He was always willing to help out anyone including the annoying noobs. I dare not post a link to his site as I got warned before for it. So those who don't know who I am talking about or need the address to pay your respects just pm me here or email me at jitway@msn.com.

  3. Last visit was the end of June. Well a lot has happened and I am still alive and will be making a comeback here. So how you all been? Me AOK. Lots of things changed for me since last time here but will go into that in detail later, for now how has all my friends been doing? Want to here from you all. Gamecop, Cindr , Drake, Wiz, Ryan and Mooney watz been happen?

  4. Microsoft's June security updates were bad news for online criminals who make their living stealing password information from online gamers.

The company's Malicious Software Removal Tool-- a program that detects and removes viruses and other bad programs from Windows machines-- removed game password-stealing software from more than 2 million PCs in the first week after it was updated to detect these programs on June 10.

One password stealer, called Taterf, was detected on 700,000 computers in the first day after the update. That's twice as many infections as were spotted during the entire month after Microsoft began detecting the notorious Storm Worm malware last September.

"These are ridiculous numbers of infections my friends, absolutely mind-boggling," wrote Matt McCormack, a spokesman with Microsoft's Malware Response Center, in a Friday blog posting.

Between June 10 and June 17, Microsoft removed Taterf from about 1.3 million machines, he said.

Microsoft's September detections seriously hobbled the Storm Worm botnet, once considered a top Internet threat.

Password stealers such as Taterf are among the most common types of malicious software on the Internet. That's because there's big money to be made selling the virtual currencies used in online games for real-world cash.

Once a criminal learns a gamer's username and password, he can log into the game and sell the victim's virtual possessions for virtual gold coins. Those coins are then handed to another character in the game who sells the gold for real-world dollars at an online exchange such as IGE, said Greg Hoglund, CEO of HBGary and a co-author of the book "Exploiting Online Games."

"There's no way to audit that money transfer, so effectively they're doing money laundering," he said. "There's almost zero risk for the attackers."

The password-stealing programs are often installed via Web-based attack code that exploits flaws in multimedia programs such as Adobe's Flash Player or Apple's QuickTime Player, Hoglund said.

The attacks are often technically sophisticated, exploiting previously undisclosed bugs in Windows software, said Roger Thompson, chief research officer with AVG Technologies. "The 'World of Warcraft' password stealers have provided most of the innovation over the last twelve months," he said via instant message.

Microsoft's McCormack provided some data on where most of the password stealer detections occurred. Not surprisingly, China was the top country, with 529,003 detections.

Security experts say Chinese games are frequently the target of these attacks. Rounding out the top five countries for detections were Taiwan with 279,428, Spain with 235,381, the U.S. with 213,374 and Korea with 184,306.

About 330 million copies of the Malicious Software Removal Tool update were downloaded during this June period.

Gamers can make easy targets for criminals because some of them disable antivirus software to boost gaming performance, while others download free "cracked" versions of games, which can contain malware, McCormack said.

"So how does one avoid being infected?" he asked. "Running an up-to-date anti-virus solution is a good start. Running an up-to-date, patched browser is another necessity," he said. "Enabling Automatic Updates helps a whole bunch, too."

This is good news. Gaming password stealing is a big business. Lots of hackers make a living off selling them. At least Microsoft is good for something...lol.

  5. fMSX version 3.5.3 is a MSX emulator for PSP.

    Get it HERE

    New features in this version:

    * Games/applications that require MSX Audio/MSX Music will no longer crash the emulator if either is disabled in System settings - there will simply be no Y2413/YM8950 audio

    * ROM type settings are now saved between sessions - up to 500 different ROM’s can be tracked by CRC32 value

The second feature requires some experimentation, and I welcome any feedback you may have. As mentioned, the limit is 500 ROM’s - this is not counting the “auto-detect” ROM’s, for obvious reasons. The list is updated when ROM type is changed via the System menu - to remove an entry from the list, simply set ROM type to “auto-detect”.

Searching through the CRC values is done in linear time, when a ROM is actually loaded, but for 500 entries, this is not likely to take long (I’m not sure how long reading/writing these entries will take to memory stick, however).

The list is loaded from stick when the emulator starts up, stored in memory while the emulator runs, and saved back to stick when emulator is exited.

    Change Log

    - Localization:

    - Updated Dutch localization [Mark van Tilburg]

    - SC-3000:

    - Fixed the ;/+/RAD key not working on Sega Keyboard emulation under

certain host keyboard/OS configuration. Thanks Jacko. [Omar]

    - Fixed crash in the X86 assembly implementation of the 32KB RAM mapper

writer when the upper 16 bits were not cleared by the Z80 emulator. [Omar]

    - Debugger:

    - Added "SYM @addr" command to search for symbols given an address. [Omar]

    - Added "RMAP addr" command to reverse map of a Z80 address and display

the source of data based on machine state (mapper registers, etc).

    eg:

    RMAP $8001 ; eg: print 'ROM $14001 (Page 5 +0001)'

    RMAP $E001 ; eg: print 'RAM $C001'

The feature doesn't work 100% in all mappers & bus mirroring cases,

but should be ok with the standard SMS/GG mapper. [Omar]

    - Duplicate commands are automatically removed from history. [Omar]

    - Increased default height of the debugger. [Omar]

    - Changed watch point per-frame flood limit from 100 to 50. Will expose in

    configuration file if requested. [Omar]

    - Fixed crash when loading symbols with debugger disabled. [Djbass,Omar]

    - Fixed labels showing one instruction early in "DASM" command. [Omar]

    - Added breakpoint '!' mark in disassembly window. [Omar]

when MEKA GUI is enabled. [Maxim]

    - Renamed "Automatically crop and align screen captures" option to

more explicit "Crop and align screen captures to 8x8 boundaries".

Previous name was sounding too "cool" and was sometimes activated

by innocent users who then got their capture all cropped. [Omar]

    - Added "screenshots_crop_scrolling_column" option in configuration

file (default to enabled), to disable cropping the empty left-most

column in horizontally scrolling games. [Omar]

    - Project:

  14. So back in November I built my first computer and got it running. Im using an Insignia 26" LCD HD TV as a monitor. For my graphics card I am using an 8600GT, and a DVI to HDMI cord to connect the two.

Two weeks ago I lost display, screen went blank, but the comp was still on. After a little messing around I got it to work again using a VGA cable and adapter on the DVI end. Some games aren't displayed right, and it just doesn't look the same to me. Under "Device Manager" is has a "?Other Devices" branch that leads to "?PCI Device" which I'm assuming is referring to my graphics card. I also seem to have misplaced the box and everything that came with the graphics card. I've gone to nVidias website and DL'd the latest drivers, but nothing changed.

I'm Still contemplating taking it somewhere and paying someone else to fix it but if its something small I can do on my own then I would rather save myself the coin. If you need more info on my specs let me know.

Well since 1 post doubt if you will come back. But if you do try removing the card and then reinstall it again and see if it finds the driver again and installs it. This should take care of the problem. Also what code does it give you when you click on the ?pc1 device in the device manager?

    What´s New

    * Better support for SDLMAME´s default configuration.
