  1. funny how sony is pretty much in trouble everywhere they do business; shiit, had they really done this, their execs. would probably in trouble just about everywhere
  2. if you are paying AOL's monthly fee and you live in the U.S, you really can get a broadband connection at a cheaper price plus AOL is extremely bulky. Don't even recommend it unless you know how to make it run only the dialer w/out all the bulk; but either way, it's a ripoff
  3. not worth it IMO
  4. 5. SBC Yahoo DSL is cheap. $14 a month for a pretty fast connection. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> shiit, that's less than Gay Oh Hell but then again, not everyone lives in the u.s ' so it's not fair to suggest an ISP available to us only
  6. don't worry; once the speed of the average broadband connection goes up + get's cheaper, 56k modems will be useless. For ex, Verizon released a service in a few states that was $30 or so a month for a 25mb down/12mb up (or so, I forgot) connection. btw...they aimed to target users in their own homes
  7. no, nothing can really speed up 56k even 56k dialup services that say they are high-speed is a lie. What they actually do is have you use their browswer which contains algorithms to compress web pages to smaller sizes so they don't load up as long. I think all they really do is remove the comments and white spaces on scripts and html files.
  8. For me it is already <{POST_SNAPBACK}> the rest of the world I should say
  9. that report seemed a little one sided
  10. go here, then download and install the music converter it comes with a supplimentary program called "CD Grab" that rips cd's into many digital audio formats. You can download encoders/decoders for more too. Just make sure you configure it real good first
  11. on a hdtv? I don't see why not
  12. jeez at least let us get to 11/17 happy bday
  13. to make em do one command with one button for ex., you can press one key to do "down, down-right, right + C" which is a comman fighting move command (mainly on street fighter games )
  14. "Alive" by Love and Rockets
  15. that all depends where did you get these wma files? if you got them from a music service that let's you legally download, then no
  16. as far as Twisted Metal games go; I rank em like this Twisted Metal Black Twisted Metal 2 Twisted Metal 3 Twisted Metal Twisted Metal 4 ...and I've never played Small Brawl or the one on PSP, so idk about those but Twisted Metal Black, IMO, was beautiful I bought Twisted Metal 2 last winter used from ebgames so that I can play it on ePSXe. Doesn't work to well on that emu, but it's superb on PSXeven
  17. was Eduardo Guerrero his actual name, or is his real name something else?
  18. maybe he won't tell us cause it's probably a german scheiße j/kj/k
  19. that's funny; maybe they'll sell it as twice the price and call it a PS4 heey, maybe they'll sell the chip as a very expensive prephiral and give you a new warranty upon successful installation .... ... .. could happen
  20. yeah; they get it last because their market is slower or something
  21. Welcome and enjoy your stay. Make sure your replies/posts are 4 words+ or at least a substantial note or else gaycop considers it spam
  22. yeah, like that one game. What was it called? Motor Toon Racing or something. It looked a little too...cheesy. But then again, there were a bit more games for the psx than the N64, so there's bound to be some bad apples. A lot of games by Take-Two didn't survive that era
  23. "Sick Child" by Siouxsie and the Banshees ..my mind is at ease now *goes off into 'La La Land' *
  24. IMO, the 90's had popular (does not apply to the 3DO, Jaguar, wonderswan, etc) game systems that had qualities one had that the other didn't. For ex, the snes had a better graphics than the sega genesis (megadrive), while the genesis (megadrive) had more cpu; then the psx and the n64 were at war (before dreamcast), and the psx ran media that had more space, ran compact discs (which allowed blue and red book audio), yet the N64 had better graphics, and as well know, the N64 didn't have as much ram (why a expansion pack was needed released) or space. I think the fun factor of psx games was what made me like them a bit more than N64 games I memmer comparing the psx version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater with the N64 version. N64 version's graphics were a little better, but the musik had no lyrics and looped 1min long instrumentals (not much of a bother anyways, but I thought it was a good observation)
