  1. Thanks for your replay. I knew that CPS3 games required 128megs xbox, but I thought that using VMM a way to load them on normal xbox had been found. My fault! About NeoGeo roms, these are the decrypted NeoGeo roms I tried that don't work (after loading a message pops up saying that there's been a problem with the roms and to press "a" to go back to roms selection screen): ganryun: Ganryu / Musashi Ganryuki (decrypted C) garoun: Garou - Mark of the Wolves (set 1, decrypted C) jockygpd: Jockey Grand Prix (decrypted C) kof99nd: The King of Fighters '99 - Millennium Battle (non encrypted P, decrypted C) kof2knd: The King of Fighters 2000 (non encrypted P, decrypted C) kof2k1nd: The King of Fighters 2001 (set 1, decrypted C) kof2k2nd: The King of Fighters 2002 (decrypted C) kof2k3nd: The King of Fighters 2003 (decrypted C) matrimnd: Matrimelee / Shin Gouketsuji Ichizoku Toukon (decrypted C) mslug3nd: Metal Slug 3 (non encrypted P, decrypted C) mslug4nd: Metal Slug 4 (set 1, decrypted C) mslug5nd: Metal Slug 5 (decrypted C) nitdn: Nightmare in the Dark (decrypted C) pnyaan: Pochi and Nyaa (decrypted C) preisl2n: Prehistoric Isle 2 (decrypted C) rotdnd: Rage of the Dragons (decrypted C) s1945pn: Strikers 1945 Plus (decrypted C) sam5spnd: Samurai Shodown V Special / Samurai Spirits Zero Special (set 1, decrypted C) samsh5nd: Samurai Shodown V / Samurai Spirits Zero (set 1, decrypted C) sengok3n: Sengoku 3 / Sengoku Denshou 2001 (decrypted C) svcnd: SNK vs. Capcom - SVC Chaos (decrypted C) zupapan: Zupapa! (decrypted C) And these are the corresponding encrypted roms that do work: bangbead: Bang Bead ganryu: Ganryu / Musashi Ganryuki garou: Garou - Mark of the Wolves (set 1) jockeygp: Jockey Grand Prix (set 1) kof99: The King of Fighters '99 - Millennium Battle (set 1) kof2000: The King of Fighters 2000 (NGM-2570) (NGH-2570) kof2001: The King of Fighters 2001 (NGM-262?) kof2002: The King of Fighters 2002 (NGM-2650)(NGH-2650) kof2003: The King of Fighters 2003 (NGM-2710) matrim: Matrimelee / Shin Gouketsuji Ichizoku Toukon (NGM-2660) (NGH-2660) mslug3: Metal Slug 3 (NGM-2560) mslug4: Metal Slug 4 (NGM-2630) mslug5: Metal Slug 5 (NGM-2680) nitd: Nightmare in the Dark pnyaa: Pochi and Nyaa preisle2: Prehistoric Isle 2 rotd: Rage of the Dragons (NGM-264?) s1945p: Strikers 1945 Plus samsh5sp: Samurai Shodown V Special / Samurai Spirits Zero Special (NGM-2720) samsho5: Samurai Shodown V / Samurai Spirits Zero (NGM-2700) sengoku3: Sengoku 3 / Sengoku Densho 2001 svc: SNK vs. Capcom - SVC Chaos (NGM-2690)(NGH-2690) zupapa: Zupapa! I usually prefer decrypted roms because they load much faster since they don't need to be decrypted on-the-fly. In past Final Burn Legends releases the decrypted roms worked good.
  2. A big thank and a quick bug report: CPS3 games and neogeo decrypted roms (mslug3nd, sengok3n, kof2knd...) don't work. Corresponding neogeo encrypted roms work good. Romset should be ok, since I just checked them using romcenter with .dat file included in the emulator archive.
  3. First Console = Colecovision First Computer = Commodore Vic 20 Best Console Memories = finishing Chrono Trigger on SNES Best Computer Memories = showing Lemmings on Amiga 500 to a girl I liked sooo much, then spending the rest of the day playing with her (just lemmings sadly)
  4. I saw that nes6502 pops here and there on this very forum, and since he is the author of ZsnexBox I'd like to ask him/suggest him something about this wonderful snes emulator. Most games run almost perfectly on ZsnexBox, but some of them has some problem (Earthworm Jim 2 and Marvel Super Heroes War of the Gems being two of them). Well, saying that these games have problem on ZsnexBox it's unfair: in fact they have problem on Zsnes. In general, some games run better on Zsnes, some other on Snes9X. That's my idea: implementing both zsnes and snes9x core on a single emulator, with an option to choose between one of the two cores. The choice between cores could be saved for any single game just like the other game settings. Could this be possible on ZsnexBox? I know that there is a Snes9X port for Xbox, but it's based on an old source (1.49 if I don't go wrong, while last Snes9X source is the 1.51); moreover that emulator gui is largely worse than the ZsnexBox one.
  5. I think that's because Heavy Smash rom is contained in the "R3 showcase update" rar. BTW thanks for your hard work and dedication!
  6. In MAWS Raiden Fighters 2 - 2000 (China) is reported as a clone of Raiden Fighters 2 http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/romset/rdft22kc The SFA3 service mode didn't work on older version of ReIgnite too (even on Ignite and Gold if I remember well)
  7. Thanks for your answer! I clearly overlooked the posts about screenshots and b.rap boys glitches - sorry! About Raiden Fighters 2, I knew that the chinese bootleg Raiden Fighters 2 - 2000 (set name rdft22kc) was working, but I thought that the parent set was added too. Maybe I just misunderstood. And about Street Fighter Alpha 3, you're right, it's not a big deal, but since you can't enter service mode you can't change all options (time, difficulty...), not just toggle free play. And beside that, it's a bug that you can't enter service mode, so I thought to point it out.
  8. Just made a few test with R3. Very impressive! Here are a couple of bugs/requests for the next builds: - Can't take ingame screenshots (when I press back+A+B nothing happens). - Atomic Robokid: at the end of the first level the screen scrolls vertically until Atomic Robokid reaches the space. Here you can see a profile of the earth with some tiles around the profile which are white when they should be black (I'd put a screenshot to better show what I mean, but I couldn't take in game screenshots...). In the second level too some part of the background which should be black are white. - Heavy Smash: emulator hangs at the end of rom loading ("Please Wait..." screen forever). - Raiden Fighters 2: emulator hangs at the end of rom loading ("Please Wait..." screen forever). - B.Rap Boys: sprite/background priority problems (e.g. during first level characters appears over the cafe walls even when they are inside the cafe). - Street Fighter Alpha 3: game starts in free play mode. I tried to remap keys to access to service mode and change the game configuration, but when I press the key I mapped to "Service" nothing happens. I tried restarting the game and even the emulator after remapping keys, but SFA3 just won't enter service mode. - Alien Storm: more a driver request then a bug. Is it possible to add "Alien Storm (set 4, World, 2 Players, FD1094 317-0154)" which is the parent mame set as of now? The Alien Storm bootleg which works in reignite has lots of glitches (e.g. missing background during first FPS level) and doesn't let you choose character at the start of the game.

  13. Just downloaded 1.29 beta; I'll do some tests when I'll get back from work later. Thanks for your work, Kenshiro! Is good to see someone keeping the X-Box scene alive!
  14. Hi, BP, and thanks for your dedication! Just a couple of questions: 1) Have you succedeed in adding Osman to this build of CoinOPS Ignite? 2) In CoinOPS Gold some CPS2 games (street fighter alpha 3 just to name one) have free play enabled by default and there is no option to change this setting. Is it still this way in Ignite? Thanks a lot!
  15. You must post a little more before we can PM you. See you later . Ok, I'll get you back after some more posts!
  16. Needless to say, I'd like to test CoinOPS Ignite if it's possible. Thanks a lot!
