  1. well iam going to use irrllicht for a racing demo thing just wanted to know which texture is better and i made them yes iam finally learning photoshop.it has to look futureistic.

  6. credits:thanks niko fot making irrlicht to the guy who made the woman 3d model, and to me for making the small house,the blue beam of light,carappy programing to make a crappy scene,and since i cant use photoshop for crap(i only used it to make the blue beam of light texture)i thanks whoever created the brick texture.iam thinking of messing with open al for irrlicht or audier for irrlicht.
  7. heres the fixed version sorry about the other one.no need to unzip only open double click the exe and it goes and dint worry about the "could not load texture:blank" mesage on the back ground dos window,there nothing wrong(usage).heres that mini scene i made,to rotate the camera use the mouse to move front.back,right,left use the direction keys.and to close use alt and f4 and this uses opengl not directx(by mychoice). new mini_scene

  12. gryph i used opengl cause its faster and more stable but volume shadows wont show and in direct x shadows show when windoed but major slowdown,and dont work in fullscreen so open gl all the way.
  13. ha ha ha no i used the irrlicht engine as a renderer for my scenes and so did my friend i he doesnt know what to do and iam already up to gravity and collision,used special effect.kinda hard cause all is in c++ and i dont know any and yet i learned some c++ by using irrlicht and creatted the scene above and my freind who know c++ can even draw a friggin triangle.and if i was a expert(combined with other libraries)i could make a game.
  14. well this is my first realtime rendered scene,made possible bythe irrlicht rendering engine.iam putting together a release version with give examples of reflection,transperancy,solid materials and skybox/skydomes,physics an collision.please give opinion by looking the screenshot pretty soon ill have the real thing for download.i did this to rub it in my friends face,cause hes learning c++ and java and he doesnt know what to do i told him i could better than(cause hes an idiot)now in addition to being able to 3d model i can program(sorta,only 3d engines or 3d game engines)
  15. i got that demo disk iwouldnt know though idont own ps2.and viewtiful joe is great for gamecube that is.
  16. i associated a filetype with wordpad by accident how do i undo that.
  17. thanks ill try to stop the mulitple windows open while modeling and i got xsi advance cause softimage 3d is really unstable bit now i lose the ability export to ps1,n64,dreamcast/ oh well i dont really need it at least with advance i got more features than xsi foundation.
  18. i modeled in softimage xsi now i got softimage 3d,in xsi it took more that 17 hours to run out of memory,now that i use 3d it runs out of memory(reserved for grphics i guess 32 mb) like 20 minutes after i start not giving me enough time to do crap.

  20. can u belive i know how to use luminousity maps,relfection maps,specularity andall the rest yet i don know know how to make them(simple grey and black maps) i tried my hands at making multiple maps for special effects and it went bad
  21. actually i still dont i am still using shaders and in this case cell shading by polygon by polygon to create diffrent color for one model.how in the world do u use this blasted thing(photoshop cs).
