  1. cool by the way, are u thinking of adding dvd support for xbox? i mean, to be honest i dont know if it would be possible to burn the actual images (gd images, 1.2) non downgraded on dvd (for pc or xbox, who knows) and then make them run/boot/play, but i think it certainly would be cool.. what do u think?? xeonrebel dreamcast: i little machine ahead of its time...quite noisy though...
  2. i've seen in other threads about using mode 2 and no overburn at all. does that make a difference? i mean, between mode 1 and 2. by the way, i've also seen to leave the dj settings as default, but in my experience that doesnt work at all. i always change my settings before burning. xeonrebel
  3. i just want to know something: do the actual non modified or hacked gd discs images exist? im not asking where to d/l them, nor anything like it just want to know for meare curiosity thankss xeonrebel
  4. thanks for the reply by the way, i've heard that releases that are dummied work better and the wear and tear of the dc is minimized, is that true? it is stated that the discs are better read in the outer area than in the inner. myabe thats whats causing the sound of the laser, its skipping the huge silence and going right to the data area in my backups. by the way, is there a way to clean the servos or whatever is moving the laser? so i can minimize the sound, thanks again
  5. hi im new into this forum, but i've read other threads about dc noises and i understand that the dc is loud as hell by nature, but i have this question: i recently got into dc burning scene, i use the following settings: 1) disc juggler 3.5, mode 2, raw write, add 3rd party images gap, 12x speed and then i changed to 2) alcohol 120% raw dao, 12x i have used the follwing media (cd-r's): verbatim cd-r super azo. now my question goes like this: i have two original discs (demo disc and browser disc) = they arent louder i have like backup discs that i bought in a flee market = they arent louder my burned discs with the specs previously mentioned= i hear like a trailing sound, i mean, like whenever i Turn On the Dc, the sound i hear is like if the laser is going all the way to the outer area (of the cd), it tends to do it once, sometimes twice, then, thats it, it makes all the normal sounds of a gd-disc or my "original backups" discs. i have to say, im burning *.cdi images, i think they are dummied or something since most of them are 700+ (even ikaruga or mvc2). am i doing something wrong? like, bad cd-r, bad burning settings, bad speed? help appreciated...i dont want my dc to get ruined, thanks xeonrebel
