    Single best memory of playing games with friends?

    This is kind of a weird favorite memory because I play a lot of more popular and fun games with friends, but my favorite time is when we rented Return Fire for Playstation and played that for 7 hours straight.

     

    We had this impromptu tournament between the 8 of us. We had pizza, Coke (Sprite, Mt. Dew etc.), Cheetos, and Popeyes chicken and biscuits.

     

    And that was like 7 years ago and I haven't really had such a memorable time playing games since then. Not even long hours fighting games and RPGs match that kind of intensity. We usually got bored of games really quickly and watched movies instead.

     

    Only long nights of AD&D (Forgotten Realms 2nd Edition!!!) and Shadowrun could match the fun we had.

    Lately, I've been getting bored of games really quickly. I got bored of Halo after half an hour.

     

    Nothing enthralls me anymore. I got bored of Vice City after a day because I was already bored of GTA3.

     

    Fighting games keep me interested for a while till I beat the games with the main characters and then I start to get bored.

     

    That's why I play games a little while at a time, while I'm working or studying, so I can easily stop and be entertained for a short while.

    I'll have to agree that World Heroes is number one crap. And the fact that there are three of them is beyond any sense.

     

    I remember playing as Rasputin once and I did this ultimately gay move where he tackles the opponent into a bed of roses and defiles him/her (usually a him). I never played the game again.

    The reason why we have those words censored is not becuase of their medical terms, it's because people use them the wrong way or to promote sexual acts. We are trying to make this forum (E- For Everyone) kind of forum. Many forums now of days become infested with cussing and postings of sexual acts. This is how you lose members. We are already seeing it in one long time partner forum and we don't want to follow that line of logic.

     

    So when you have a forum that's for everyone, that's how you get more members, and of course good ones. Why want a member that helps you out, but if you say one thing to him, good or bad, he cusses at you and then flames you? This little censorship fights them off because they hate it and we love it. :)

    Alright...fine GC, you're the boss. :blink:

     

    Sexual acts...sounds fun. How 'bout me and you get together for a drink and some sexual acts afterward, heh GC? :( I'll type all naughty! ROORRWWW!

    This is weird...why would they downgrade it? There has to be a reason. I mean, I'm sure games for both NAOMI and Atomiswave systems have the same develoment cycles.

     

    Does anyone know if people are still making games for NAOMI, or are they just making games for Atomiswave?

    I'm usually having trouble doing double half-circle motions in the heat of battle, but for single ones...I just do those, from one end to another...nothing hard about that.

     

    I've macroed double and triple button presses in neoRAGEx. I can only pull off A+B and B+D without any help... I've set up my buttons like this:

     

    Neo buttons - SW buttons

     

    A = A

    B = B

    C = X

    D = Y

     

    C+D = L

    A+B+C = R

    B+C+D = Z

    A+C = C

    It matters in the heat of battle though :D Sometimes I ghetto it by doing a QCF+QCB really quickly. Alright, most of my macros are the same as yours so I feel good about that. Yeah...it is hard to press A and X at the same time but B+Y are easy. Don't know why I macroed B+D when I could easily have done that.

    Oh yeah. And that, too. I think News Corp. also owns Cartoon Network.

     

    No, Turner owns Cartoon Network. News. Corp. only owns FX and FOX, to my knowledge. Viacom owns CBS. Disney owns ABC. NBC is Turner, as well.

    Oh ok...I thought News Corp. owned more television networks. I'm wrong then. Thanks for the correct info.

     

    I used to think that Turner sold most of his networks. Turns out he only sold CNN.

    the bad thing about keyboards is they only recognise 3 or 4 button presses at the same time.  like AntiWinner22 said the xbox adapter is a good choice or a playstation adapter which ever you have.  then there is my holy grail a saturn controller and adapter! there is no better controller for fighting games then the saturn controller.

    Ah yes...the Saturn controller. I remember playing Darkstalkers and Street Fighter on the Saturn. Good times.

     

    The Sidewinder layout is basically like a Saturn controller except for where you hold it. It's got that PS handle thing going.

    I FOUND MY SIDEWINDER!! YES!!!!! It's been gone for almost a year!!! Oh happy day!

     

    But it's been so long since I've used it, it feels weird as hell. I can play better on the keyboard. :D

     

    Hey Agozar, got any tips on how to do Half Circle motion? I can do charge moves and quarter circle motion like a charm, but I'm having trouble with the half circles. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't. And I'm also having trouble pressing two of the buttons at the same time for SDMs. I macroed A+C and B+D to two other buttons but thats cheap.

    I thought Micheal said he underwent all those surgery to look more like Pinnochio (sp?).

    If that's true, then that's even weirder. Who the flock wants to look like Pinnochio?! He's lying! Maybe his nose will grow like his!

     

    I remember at first he said it was because he had Vitiligo, which is bullshit because both my mom and myself have it. Completely depigmenting your body is only done if 80% of your body has been affected by Vitiligo.

    I love that show! I have almost all of the episodes on my computer. While that show was on the air, it overtook The Simpsons as the funniest show. I was heartbroken when they took it off the air, put it back, and then took it off again! They were playing with my emotions.

     

    The reason it will be on Fox is more people watch Fox than Cartoon Network. It's a pity the show didn't get the mass ratings that it deserved.

    yeah, i realize WHY they do it...

     

    i heard once that michael jackson is good friends with elizabeth taylor, and that his goal is to be glamourous (i.e. look) like her. this would explain a lot. but still, someone needs to get a huge picture of joan rivers and put in on every billboard in LA with the words "attn celebrities: want to look like this? then keep flockin around with your faces."

    There is a picture of Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor, Lizza Minelli, and David Gest. It is probably the funniest picture I have ever seen.

    I thought there were 3 of them that had ties together. Oh well, by then I stopped caring and just believed what my friend told me. Whatever it was, Ninja Ressurection sucked big time.

    There were three similar animes...The original Ninja Scroll and Ninja Resurrection...

     

    Before you say that I can't do math: Ninja Resurrection was in two parts, The Revenge of Jubei and Hell's Spawn.

     

    Both Ninja Scroll and Ninja Resurrection had a protagonist named Jubei (and looked very similar), but that wasn't the same Jubei.

    Oh well then I'm at fault. Doesn't matter though because only Ninja Scroll was good.

     

    I remember some flockhead told me that the Jubei from Samurai Showdown is the Jubei in Ninja Scroll. I wanted to slap him.

    i used to like anime a lot, but its become too mainstream. now i like to watch a lot of underground iranian cartoons... the artwork is CRAZY.

     

    i like ghost in the shell, spriggan, trigun, and hellsing.

    Same here, except for the underground Iranian cartoons.

     

    I used to watch a lot of anime till I saw the 13th tape of Evanglion (before it got REALLY famous). I was so turned off by that tape that now I'm very wary when I buy (or rent) an anime.

     

    Spriggan is the latest awesome anime that I've seen in a while.

    Record of Loddoss Wars

    Cutey Honey (right when I hit puberty :lol:)

    The Guyver

    Ninja Scroll (just the first one)

    Ghost in the Shell (I hear they're making a sequel or something)

    other random fighting game animes (Fatal Fury, Street Fighter, Battle Arena Toshinden etc.)

     

    Now I prefer real movies.
