  1. After reading this thread I downloaded Shaq Fu for the SNES and played it. I can truly say without a shadow of a doubt that this is the worst game ever..... :o

    LOL ;):lol::lol:

did you rent the movie shazam as well?? :):o

I rented it once...I was just too curious. I mean, who can resist a rapping genie that comes out of a boom-box?! I know I couldn't. And I must say it was a terrible movie.

I remember playing Shaq Fu at this guy's house and it was the probably the funniest thing we had ever played. Such a bad game...such a pity.

  2. I'm actually waiting for a normal Kawaks and Nebual release. I gave up on NRX because of the EGCG version always quits when I try to import. And I'm way to lazy to see if all my rom files are  *.rom. Maybe if someone releases another version of NeoRageX that has support of all the news games and doesn't flock up, then I'll use it. I like my NeoRage 0.8 just fine thank you.

It doesn't flock up if you replace the Zlib.dll.

I did that and it still didn't work. I'll try it again when I go home. But I think the real problem is that some of my roms are not *.rom, but weirds ones with numbers in the extension. I tested my EGCG version out by placing just one rom that I know that has only *.rom files and it works fine. But if I set the directory to one that has more than it, it flocks up.

But after Micro I'll try to replace the Zlib.dll with another older version.

  4. i tried out the winkawaks 1.48 version of kof2k3 and the picture is HORRIBLE..the picture was so pixelated and blocky

That picture is pixelated because he changed the resolution of the picture from high to low. It has nothing to do with how the game really looks. Look at his other picture of his desktop, it looks fine then.

Wow james, I can just picture you being the Hulk ripping out of your clothes. RARRGHHH!!! JAMES BANNER! NOOOO! *SMASH*

  5. ah, Cps3? is it like games like marvel vs capcom 2 and stuff? and when do they think they are going to come out with an emulator for cps3?

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 uses NAOMI or Atomiswave, can't remember. CPS3 ain't gonna be emulated for a long long time.

I hope it is emulated soon but the odds are highly against it. I hope I live to see the emulation of those systems.

  6. My only problem with MAME is the lack of external DATs. Since I don't know how to program, I have to wait for someone else to compile a copy for me to leech of off. I don't mind it much because it'll only be a matter of time before somebody gets it working.

It is much easier to copy and paste the DAT files into Nebula/Kawaks but I'm not going to hate MAME just for that reason. Sure it's inconvenient, but that's it. It's only an inconveience.

you act like I know about programming. Dude, if you wanna start compiling it, I can give you a guide a friend of mine gave me. If its MAME32 Plus you wanna compile, the drivers for kof 2002 and earlier are already on the source, but they're disabled, the other games you have to add yourself(which isn't hard because all of the games that came out in 2003 are decryted)

Oh I assumed you knew some programming. Alright send me the link to this guide. I'm always eager to learn more, especially if it helps me in future emulation needs. And it'll be cool to know something about compiling so I can make fun of n00bs :D

  8. I'm 19 and have a an Atari 2600, NES, and an SNES here in the US and an NES/Samurai (that's what it is called there) and TurboGrafx16 at my house in India. I never bothered buying a PS, Genesis, Saturn, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, X-BOX, Gamecube because I can just leech those off friends. I had no need to buy them. And I basically stopped playing console games then, I prefer PC games.

So I think I'm pretty old school.

  10. I really don't care what emulator I use. I can adapt to anyone if I have to. If a game only plays with MAME, I'll use MAME.

I would prefer if it all games ran on one emulator so I wouldn't have to have 4 icon (Kawaks, Nebula, NeoRageX, and now MAME32.) Personally I prefer Nebula because of its raster effects and better graphics.

    I have a question though.

Don't KAWAKs and Nebula basically work the same? Like if you have a DAT for Kawaks, you can just add it to the Nebula neogeo.dat and the game will work. I did that for a few games and it worked properly so I'm assuming that's how it works. Am I wrong?
