  1. Some of my less important extensions weren't compatible, but nothing major. I'm just waiting for someone to whip out a tweak guide for Firefox 3.
  2. You'd do better to forget Chankast ever existed and switch to nullDC, although I'm not sure how glitch-free that emulator is under Vista.
  3. Tales of the Abyss. My modded PS2 works like a dream, and I'm pleased.
  4. Indeed. Knowing Nintendo's long-lasting stance on emulators and their own IPs in particular, this was expected.
  5. 6. Against the rules since soundtracks are copyrighted material. But yeah, those really aren't hard to find.
  7. Fatal Frame = win, but slightly less so than 2 and 3. Just beat an extremely annoying boss in Shadow Hearts: From the New World that caused me to put the game on hiatus for a very long time. Also, got a new 32" widescreen TV, and ordered a chipped slim PS2. You can guess how giddy I am.
  8. You should; the GameCube textures pack at least. Works with any version and replaces the textures in the game with the ones ripped from the GameCube version, and as a result, the game looks considerably sharper and more detailed.
  9. Kaillera works in mysterious and rage-inducing ways. Stop using it if it starts to bother you too much.
  10. Yeah, I should have explained the stuff in post #4 back in post #2. :/ I was under the [false] impression that you already knew about the VMU managers' shortcomings among other issues. People should always ask for clarification, or better yet, demand a clear explanation from the get-go.
  11. I was asking along the lines of improvement patches, i.e. the GameCube textures pack, Bloom, etc. But yeah, the 1.1.0 patch makes a world of difference graphics-wise.
  12. There is no way to inject said images into save files. At the very least, I haven't heard or read anywhere that there is either a tool or a method to do so. Plus, although nullDC does have preliminary netplay support, the support is plugins-based, and all the other related features that the Dreamcast had either aren't emulated or emulated so poorly that it's the same as having just a placeholder. Furthermore, the most you can do with VMU managers is to import external saves (9 times out of 10 it doesn't work) or format/create VMU files. There is very little what you can do with game saves.
  13. Persona 2 + Secret of Evermore = Very yes, although I'd still switch SoE to Eartbound. I like FFVIII Junction System, although i agree that it's almost too easy to make your characters like demi-gods early on.
  14. Please post the exact filenames of the files, because it should like you have a split compressed archive at your hands. Of so, you need t extract the contents starting from the first one, other will follow suit automatically. You might have to recompress the files into a single archive afterwards, but until you post what I asked above, I can't give you any further info. EDIT: Thinking back, since Dracula X is a CD game, you ,ost likely have a single CD image, compressed into split archives. So extract the CD image from the archive and them mount it, or if Magic Engine has the support to directly use CD images, use the image directly from the emulator. Although, since you have the demo version of the emultor, I don't think if CD emulation is even available + you have limited playtime.
  15. If you can run nullDC, then you have all the necessary plugins, and audio does work. If you haven't changed the default plugins, then the default sound plugin has the Sync to Audio option in its configuration options under Options --> Aica.
  16. In a good way. I'd start with the first one, just because it cemented a lot of things that are common in the so-called Star Ocean "universe". but it doesn't really matter. I haven't finished any of the games yet, btw.
  17. No$Gba is very compatible with game, although speed and be an issue at times, and it's by no means perfect. IIRC, the next after No$Gba is iDeaS.
  18. Like like Star Ocean 3, although it's rather difficult if you don't pull a tri-Ace and actually learn the ins and outs of its skill-learning system + even the basics of the workshop stuff Still, Star Ocean 2 defies criticism, in my opinion.
