  1. I flocking hope not. I identify people here by their nicknames. I'm resigning from my job as a super mod if v3 will have a feature like that.
  2. I can't say much about these, because most of these are exremely hard to find on the net. But I'll say a few things... 1. Samurai Deeper Kyo is basically a 2D fighter, and a damn good one too. I like it anyways. 2. Rapid Angel was too weird for my tastes. 3. Tomba is nice, with bright colors and fairly good sprites. Might loose to Crash Bandicoot, but still worth a try. 4. The Broken Sword games are always good. I have the PC versions of all three, so I won't say much about the PSX port. 5. You either love or hate Twisted Metal. It has more fun factor in multiplayer. 6. Megaman Legends 2 owns me. Suck a good game. Haven't played the first. Get The Misadventures of Tron Bonne. Same universe, different characters, and it awesome too. 7. Yo won't be getting much out of Policenauts. 8. Fade to Black (although being a semi-sequel to the oh-so-great Flashback) doesn't have much of the "magic" when in 3D. 9. Alone in the Dark is... well, Alone in the Dark. Not as scary as Resident Evil or Silent Hill, but still good. 10. Again, I'd advise you to stay clear to those japanese games, more specifically, Bandai's works. They were intended for japanese players and most of them rely heavily on some anime/manga. 11. Pinobee is Hudson's answer to Rayman. Need I say more? It's entertaining at least.
  3. What? CNN repoted something like this?
  4. It's one of the best freeware games ever. I still haven't finished it, because I'm such a slow player.
  5. Excellent game. Definitely the sleeper hit of the year. i just beat the game and unlocked the Commentary Mode. I wish it would have been available from the start. The commentary icons are a cool addition... Even though it's very clear that the developers' native language isn't english.
  6. The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay Developer's Cut Again.
  7. I've been trying to plug this game to you guys for so long, yet most people seem to overlook it. :/
  8. Why ? Is it that hard to work out that the roms do not belong to Mame ( Not owned by Mame ). My reply was to this ok, so only the Mame rom will work, right? Yes, I know. And you should also know that people use the term 'MAME rom' quite loosely.
  9. If a sourcecode is released publicly, it's OK to link to games that have been built made using this public sourcecode. Same with PD games, they are after all, Public Domain. I wouldn't allow posting the WAD file though, unless it has become free too.
  10. Funny, I thought I saw Xenogears in his list. Yes, you can't possibly overlook that game. Wait, I think he has it already...
  11. He/she isn't permanently banned, just a month account suspension. We'll see if they bother to come back after that.
  12. Actually, according to his/her first post they were "a bf and gf from ... please don't ban us if we break your records" Or something of that sort.
  13. I have most of those and they are more than worth your trouble. However... 1. Persona 2: Innocent Sin was never localized. Eternal Punishment is still one of the best (and the most difficult in a sense) games that I've ever played. Has loose ties to the Shin Megami Tensei series. 2. Saiyuki is excellent. 3. Rurouni Kenshin was never localized. I'd advise you to stay away from unlocalized RPGs simply because if you can't read japanese fluently, you won't get much from the storyline. 4. Guardian's Crusade is considered to be the first Playstation console-type RPG. It's a bit lacking in some areas and doesn't look too hot, but you might get some kicks out of it. 5. Grandia wins. You might have some sound problems in the opening FMV though if you emulate it. 6. Let me add a few notable games to your list: Dragon Warrior VII (a bit outdated, but it's still Dragon Warrior.) Final Fantasy Tactics Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth Final Fantasy Origins SaGa Frontier Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure ( Just too awesome, Nipppon Ichi's first PSX game) Thousand Arms Vandal Hearts II
  14. That has to be the greatest tribute to Michael Jackson ever. Excellent.
  15. It's the same but Megatech has a license for it from Sega.
  16. It can be, there are already screenshots of SCUMMVM running on PSP.
  17. Yes, if the S1 has the same CRC and the same data.
  18. There's aren't any patches for this game there. Damn. Then you might be stuck until you find the right S1.
  19. Check here: http://www.micmano.net/Utilitaires_et_Patch.htm
  20. Same here. I need a MAME build that uses proper 3D hardware acceleration.
  21. James honestly, sometimes you just don't make much sense.
  22. No, it isn't. Besides, even if it was, you'd probably get 5-10fps, which is not playable. Just get the PC version, it's just as good if not better.
  23. Robbbert is quite correct. Don't the admins see logs of deleted topics and whatnot? Check those, his posts were total garbage and I warned him multiple times.
  24. Yes. God I wish it were true.
  25. You have definitely been playing F.E.A.R. a little too much. There's nothing wrong with that per se, but if you start seeing girls in blood-red dresses, you need to chill.
