...This one is for Fighting Games again... ...Throughout the evolution of Fighting games...there have been various systems placed into the games to prevent "cheapness"...Primal Rage with the "no cheese", MK4 with the 45% damage cap...Guard Breaks, Guilty Gear and the Negative Penalty... ...Do you think that doing such things helps the gameplay? Has it made a change for you? What do you think of Cheapness Prevention systems in fighting games?

The "average" gamers these days like 3D games over 2D. Because they think 2D is outdated(In respect to it, it is, but the limits have not been reached yet, they hit the peak during 1994-1995 with the release of several good fighters). Perfect Example... USA and Japan consider Castlevania: Symphony of the Night a classic ass game... European mags Bashed it 'cause it looked old school, and sold like sh--t over there because of that shallow opinion... (Note: if Castlevania:SotN was your first Castlevania game...you DON'T know Castlevania)

That reminds me...I dunno about you all, but I've always had a hard time pulling off the QCF x 2 motion when facing right on a joystick... ...and I can't play Project Justice for the life of me on a stick, whereas MVC2 (capcoms stress reliever game) is strictly stick for me... it all comes from where you started. I started in the arcade so sticks are no big deal to me. after a few rounds I am back 100% now I can tell you as an OG sms, nes, pce, and genesis owner it took me over a year to get used to shoulder buttons. I still hate to use them in a fighting game. I always move the weak punch and kick to the shoulders. and never ever use the left shoulder buttons unless I have to. yeah...I use the shoulders for my weaks too (should the fighter be a 6 button)...but I like to use the shoulders for that (especially on dreamcast, 'cause I can flick the trigger and make it extra effective) or if the game has a button to guard...I put the guard on the shoulders I can play fine with pretty much any sane controller or stick...'cept for gamecube (I know...its redundant...but its the only example of a BAD controller I have...)

Yes...the first Mortal Kombat movie was quite good, as well as Resident Evil...but thats about it...

...This one is about the media...Why is it that Movies based on Video Games tend to suck, and Video Games based on Movies tend to suck as much, if not more? Whats the deal? Why do you think Video games and Movies just don't get along?

Sh--t...I remember back when I lived in houston...there was this place with an arcade in it I used to go to ('cause it was RIGHT THERE) called Fun-Plex...for some time...some idiot that worked in the arcade screwed up the cabinet on the Tekken 4 and the Joysticks were on the RIGHT side of the buttons instead of the LEFT LIKE EVERY FRIGGIN' SANE CABINET ON THE PLANET!!! ...although there's this other arcade deep in houston (outskirts of downtown) called "Stargate"...I've been there a couple times and the experience was a decent one (it was 90% fighters)...but they moved into a bigger building just before I left for Chicago... As for the topic...I play 'cause I love good fights...and the spectacle of it all...

Penny Arcades joke on this pretty nuch sums up my opinion on this project thus far... I think the EA heroes are gonna resemble Spawn's villain-types...Big ass muscular mofo's and skimpy ass hot chicks...

Man...just go to blah jr....a very good and reliable Rom download site...although you DO have to register to get more of the High-End roms (Saturn and stuff...) but everything else is free...there's a 120MB per day download limit to those who aren't registered...i guess thats for keeping the servers under control, which is a great thing...if you're lookin' for CPS-2 and Neo Geo roms...definitely go there, but beware...those 2 links tend to shut down a lot (popularity i guess...)

1152 x 864 (the resolution I perfer to use) + Top Sig - 500 x 141 + Bottom Sig - 480 x 143 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600 have the same measurements...I'm not spoiling anything, nor am I bashing anyone in them...both sigs are under the maximum size...there's no "blinkies" (whatever the f--ck those are...) so the only rule I've "broken" is that there's more than one...so quit your b-tchin'...I'll solve this in a better manner... But that's fuzzy logic - if the maximum image size is a certain size, that means you can only have one image, that just stands to reason. Oh well, it doesn't matter now, because GameCop took one image away. actually...when I had posted the bottom banner...it was too big...I had to resize it first...apparently, the way the system is set up...each IMAGE had to be a certain size...as long as each image was within that size...you could post as many as you wanted...hence how I managed to have 2 in there, 'cause on their own...they were within the size limits... oh yeah...and GC took them BOTH off...I wish the guy would have TOLD me this first...instread of just goin' off and doing that...pissed me off... If you were here more offten you would have known, and i did warn you. hence my making the damned poll...

and I never would have known that anyways, 'cause they never took up nearly as much room as everyone else reported, on my own computer...and I tested it on different resolutions...if only someone had shown a screenshot of their own computer screen so i could compare...that would have been a whole lot better...

Because for the most part Tekken 4 was garbage. It took a step backwards. The game play was so broken. Namco said that they have learned from there mistake and they are going to fix the game play, and also make the game more like VF. But in witch way I don't know. in my eyes...Tekken 4's only flaws were the inclusion of position changes (replacing the left limb throw commands) and the fact that there were only 3 new characters, but only 3 new movesets (since Jin changed styles, and Christie was merely a feminized Eddy) ...but the new environments were a big step up from the boring flat "carousel" stages in the past 4 games (1-3 and family reunion/tag)

was hyato from star gladiator? i never knew what he was from... ive got star gladiator somewhere on ps1 but i havent played it in what feels like whatever... infact even when i got it i only played it once or twice... Yeah, he's the main character. Plasma Sword sucked ass...thats all I have to say...the characters had as much variety as Battle Arena toshinden 3...and the fighting system was straight up boring...stick to Hayato in MVC2...he's a lot better off there...even though he sounds exactly like Kyo...
